Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Im pretty sure hes done, and then we will never have to talk about him again
thats what a few people have been saying but why dont he just sign those papers, there's something holding him back maybe its the money he;ll have to pay back who knows....
I reallly think he wants to play again he might be sittimg out to see how tampa QB'S do hopeing they all fail then they will half to hope for a come back from plummer to nbe there #1 QB,then he'll come back as a starter which he wants....he does not want to be a backup at all..

When I was at lunch yesterday, they were showing 1st and 10 (I think that's what it's called with Jay crawford and skip bayless), and they were showing some clips of Jake playing, and then I think they might have shown Garcia. There was no audio, so I am not sure what they were saying.
Was 1st and 10 what you watched? Or, did anyone see what they were saying on 1st and 10?

Well if he has plans of playing, he'd better get to training camp soon. It'll be hard enough for a quarterback to learn Gruden's offense, and even more so if he's trying to play catch-up.
Plummer is the kind of mobile QB Gruden wants; it's a reason he liked Gannon, and was not fond of Johnson. But if Plummer doesn't come to camp anytime soon, Garcia will have a hammerlock on QB#1. Had Jake not delayed, TB may not have taken Garcia, and Jake would be the favourite to win the #1 spot.

Now, though, I doubt he could beat out Garcia.
I still think Gruden wants Jake for trade ammo.
You think Simms has no shot at #1?

The way Gruden has been talking it would be easy to come to that conclusion don't you thinK?
To be honest, other than this forum and checking the Bronco newswire stories that I aggregate on my site, I have been pretty much on a football hiatus. I haven't been listening to Sirius NFL Radio, and haven't been watching NFL Live or Total Access. So, while I know that he traded for Plummer and got Garcia (which says a bit about where he thinks Simms is, I haven't seem much on the situation.

Sorry, I just saw this now. TXBRONC is right, Gruden seems pretty high on Garcia, and Garcia seems to be doing everything to be the teacher's pet (suck-up, hehehe, ).
On a side note, I think Simms can learn a whole lot from Garcia. Garcia was putting up great numbers with the 49ers until they switched coaches. Then he's been bouncing around ever since. He should've listened to Siefert and Young when they told him he should seriously consider the Broncos.

ya he might be high on garcia..
but there's something about plummer he likes or he would not have made the statement live that he is leaving a spot open on the roster for plummer...
thats all-most sounds like a cry for him to show up....and hows that make the other qb's feel by him saying that..
