There is some speculation that Glenn, 31, and entering the final year of his contract, might be floating the retirement scenario as motivation for the Colts to offer a contract extension. But the sources reached Saturday said the veteran offensive lineman is very serious in his deliberations about leaving the game as a Super Bowl champion.

i would think that would play a huge part in his plans.
right now he's holding all the cards and the colts need him if they want to tryn and repeat as champs

If he retires that would definetly take a hit to the colts. but i dont think it will be to huge. peyton has never stood in the pocket long enough to get hit all that much. he makes his reads and releases the ball pretty quickly.

I think what is gonna kill them is the lose of depth. Freeneys contract(future)the rookies and how joesph addi preforms this year.

if glenn actually retires right before training camp, he probably waited as a little bit of payback for the way PAYton threw the line under the bus after that playoff loss to pitt. . . .

I wonder how long it will take for Broncos fans to use this as an excuse for why they will win in Indy this year.

It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.

Excuse .. or reason? do you know the difference? Shouldn't this go in the "ask a dumb question, get a dumb answer" thread???

I wonder how long it will take some retarded Chief fan to realize his team is considered a bottom dwelling franchise?

Actually, we'll win in Indy this year because of Travis Henry.

The Colts are going to take a major hit because of this if it does happen.

I think we'll win at Indy because of the loss of these players in addition to Tarik Glenn.
