Melvin Gordon reportedly had microfracture surgery

i know nothing about microfracture surgeries but from what the chargers GM says it looks "favorable" and they didn't bring in any new RB's in FA or the draft, other than the typical UFA rookies.

I had Gordon in FF, and so I watched him quite often last season. He did not have a great group around him, and maybe he was hurting more than we knew, but he did not impress me in general. And who knows how this surgery will go. I hope for the young man that all goes well. He needs it to go well.

Not an encouraging sign for the guy or team. Especially after the disappointing year and trading up to 15 to get him. Good luck Melvin.

That is a difficult surgery to rehab. Didn't Quinton Carter have that? I wish Melvin well in his recovery.
