How you feel about all this? You're one of the better posters on here. I'd like to hear what you think about all of this.

He's staying with ESPN, probably Winston Moss.

Rich Gannon said on Sirius NFL Radio today that he believes the Oakland job is the one job that could pull Jon Gruden from the broadcasting booth. He also stated that Madden has a great relationship with Jon Gruden and could be the one to get him to come back to Oakland.

            Bleacher report....oh boy.

Peter King completely dismissed the idea. Don't get your hopes up.

Everyone is entitled to a mistake, even the great ones make them. For example the whole media outlet said the Steelers would crush the Broncos, but it didn't happen.Everyone was off,we won the game.

Its just an example how people are wrong, but it doesn't mean the information is no help.I tend to like bleacher report more than other information sources, maybe its just me.

If im gruden im not leaving my nice cushy job at ESPN to go coach a team thats committed to a QB they pulled off the streets just one late round draft and barely any cap space and that seems to make an effort to suck whenever they start to look good.

Who do you think gets the position?

Or who do you want to get the position?

No offense BSD, but I'd lose my job if I cited something on the Bleacher Report as true and accurate. Just sayin'.

I'm sorry to see Hue didn't work out there, but I'm damn glad the perfect storm for the Palmer trade formed. If we weren't keeping Jay Gruden I'd be keen on getting him back here to be our OC.
                          HEAR ME ROAR!

I think Winston Moss will get it, I want Jon Gruden.

Hue made promises all year and couldn`t keep any of them. After the last game he threw his team under the bus in a "rant" that wasn`t very professional. The day after that he publicly stated he wanted more control in the whole organization. Basically he had a huge ego and loved the spotlight but never backed anything up. Big hat, no cattle. He may be OK as an OC but as HC he made many boneheaded decisions.

McKenzie is in now and wants to rebuild from the ground up. He wants a solid foundation so he will keep players that LOVE the game and want to win and dismmiss those who are only there for a paycheck. The same with any in the administraion (on the football side). I think he is building a system and stated that whoever he hires as HC will in fact be empowered to pick his own staff. Pundits say it will be Winston Moss but who knows? Raders interviewed Todd Bowles today who was the interim coach in Miami the last 3 games. Maybe we get a new up and comer coach that fits GM Mac`s vision or maybe he hires a retread HC. Who knows? The one thing that is certain is that if he follows GB`s business plan of growing a team for years to come, it will be a nice future for Raider fans.
