And the Patriots are also going 1-15, right?

Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay puts him on their PS if the Raiders don't. Dude has talent but Oakland wasn't gonna be the right place for him anyway. Because of their questionable OL, they need someone like a RGIII, Russell Wilson.

Wilson cleared waivers and is now PS eligible.

If he signs with the Raiders, it will have been a gamble that paid off by McKenzie. He will have kept Wilson without using a 53 man roster spot on him.

This was a dumb decision by the Raiders. Regardless of how you felt about Tyler Wilson coming out in the draft you don't cut a 4th round QB that was playing behind that o-line. I would have thought they would go after Cobi Hamilton and try to develop them together as a solid pairing of the future since they already have chemistry from college.

I didn't even think McGloin outplayed him in the preseason either. I know Wilson got nudged out by McGloin in the 2nd and 3rd game but I didn't think he played that well. Idk why I'm surprised with this, it's the Raiders and Terrelle Pryor is likely their starting QB. That really says it all

Personally I really liked what I saw in Wilson. Nothing to gamble your franchise on.. but a waste to just cut him loose right away.
