It's absurd to me that James Harden takes half of his shots from beyond the three point line, and shoots more free throws than Michael Jordan. That said, he bailed Durant and Irving out big time. That was a train wreck waiting to happen before Harden got there....

Strictly someone who can help Lock improve at managing the game: Alex Smith
Strictly someone to come off the bench and play: Ryan Fitzpatrick
Strictly someone who won't create a controversy: Andy Dalton
A little bit of all three: Tyrod Taylor
Washington's offensive line...

I generally agree with the draft approach. If we were to move up for a QB, even though we have a glaring need at corner, I wouldn't be against building heavily in the trenches and then defense. I've stated before that there are corners I like in the back half of this draft, so I wouldn't disagree with...

Well play it out. I'm not disagreeing with your philosophy, but how does it play out? Who are you bringing back this year? What picks are you giving up to get Fields or Wilson? If you spend your next pick on a RT, who will likely sit behind James this season, when is your next pick going to be, and...

I'm just glad I no longer have to see Brady or Mahomes win another SB, because they make more than 13.1% of their team's cap from now on.
It's funny to me. The Broncos were 32nd in turnovers (18 by Lock in 13 games, 4 by Rypien in 2 games, 2 by Driskel in 2 games), and the Texans were...

Well, let's look at this offseason alone. Who do you want to re-sign? Say we have the 43 or so to play with. Simmons is 14 per, the tender on AJ is 3.5 (re-signed is probably around 10) and, assuming the other teams still don't think Shelby is all that, let's call it 5. Then, we can say that Simmons...

You guys are right. Let's sign Patrick to a long term deal, and then make him our number 2 receiver opposite Sutton. Let's do that instead of tendering him, and waiting to see how healthy Sutton is. Then, if Sutton does come back to full strength, we can have 20 million against the cap tied up in Tim...

Haven't seen it posted, but Paige said the Broncos are showing interest in Fitz.

If Lock is the guy again next season, I wouldn't be against it....

What he's saying is why would you want to pay Patrick 4-6 million a year long term to sit on the bench when Sutton comes back? We're going to need some of that money to re-sign Sutton. If you don't think Patrick can get that go look at what receivers get paid. Perriman got 6.5 million, and Cobb got...

It's actually not my responsibility to explain the aggregated QB statistic you posted in an attempt to support the one team statistic you base your argument against Watson on. I did it for you anyway, and you still don't seem to understand it.

The difference between that stat and Passer Rating is that it incorporates Rushing, Fumbles, and Sacks. So, if Watson had the 2nd highest Passer Rating in the league, was 6th in rushing yards, and had the 2nd fewest fumbles lost amongst the top 8 quarterbacks by rushing attempts, then your argument...

Yeah. Sherman is the definition of what you want from a mental perspective. Work ethic, smart, and tough. I think Talib never got a fair shake from a lot of Broncos fans when it comes to those things. The work he put in studying film was plain as day watching him play....

Current guys I can think of are Richard Sherman, Quinton Dunbar, and Trevon Diggs. Champ actually lined up at receiver a lot in college, though that was never his exclusive position. A lot more than Charles Woodson did....

I'm glad you put yourself out there. I was starting to think I was the only one. Yeah, pencil me in for Jaycee Horn. Surtain might be the best all round right now, or most polished. Farley very well may be the best fit for us. I think Horn has incredible upside, though. I mean if you asked me which...

Fair enough. I agree about NE, but also SF. I think SF would be great for him. The thing about Denver though, is the kind of receivers we have. Maybe the catch and run style of Shanahan's mold would be a little better for him, but with where I think Jeudy will wind up as a guy who can get open (and...

This is the most honest breakdown I've seen of Minshew:
It echoes the idea that, if the idea is to be very aggressive vertically, he would not be the most ideal backup to bring in to challenge Lock. That's a fair argument for not bringing him in. On the other hand,...

Have to agree to completely disagree on that one, Beast.
I would say, for one, his ball security in the pocket needs work, but that's part of his nature at extending plays. He draws a lot of Fitzpatrick comparisons, but he's a smarter decision maker. Fitzpatrick is more of a risk...
