I can't speak for everyone but I have never laid complete blame on anyone. Lock, imo, does take most of the responsibility in Denver for all of the turnovers and absolutely terrible decisions he made for most of the season. The line was not perfect but far from the worst in the league. Our defense should...

A Watson lead offense without a top WR (and the top WR he had only played half the year), no viable TE and the leagues 31st ranked rushing offense still produced 24 PPG. Defense was at or near the bottom in every major category ..just saying...

100%....I would love it if Lock produced and just flipped a switch. We won't know that if we don't give him the shot, even though he had this last year. I am also 100% guilty of not wanting to give him that shot if there is a chance we can land Watson.
Imo, Denver has 2 options. Either...

We have a back and the line is fine. RT is the only question mark and if James decides to play he could be the answer. Our skill players are as good as there is in the league....we just need a driver...

So...ride with Lock? That's the answer? And what if he doesn't get better? We draft top ten again and we are just sitting here on a revolving carousel of crap and looking at changing coaches and another year of the question how to fix the QB spot. If we stay with Lock and he pulls of a Houdini act and...

Is there player testimony on Watson being a poor leader? Bad teammate? Just because he wants out of a cancerous situation you assume that he is the problem? Maybe my extreme want to FINALLY have the QB position resolved is clouding my judgement a little but from all accounts Deshaun is perceived as...

I have to wander if something is going to happen soon. I read this morning the Panthers are reworking contracts and cutting players to create cap space and are rumored to make a hard push as well....Last edited by JvDub95; 02-20-2021, 09:03 AM.

I don't care what side of the Lock fence you're on, nobody can make an argument that Lock is a better option than Watson. The deal with Watson is no guarantee and the odds are that Denver stays with Lock. I will absolutely support Lock if Paton doesn't get a deal done on the Watson front. His leash...

And a fan base can be the judge and jury too. The organization has already run that team down to complete garbage. Now, with no draft capital and cap space they are in serious trouble of being in the worst team in history category. Sometimes you have to lose to gain and I think they know that. Losing...

Tough to say, both divisions are going to be tough to compete in. I would actually argue that the AFC west would be easier to find a playoff birth in. NFC west you have Wilson, Murray, Stafford and whoever the 49rs find/stay with. We know what the AFC west is made of and I'd say Carr and Herbert are...

Broncos in an almost trade??

Supposedly Broncos almost pulled off a blockbuster trade that apparently fell through........

My whole aim was targeted at Locks mental capabilities, hence the "dumb down" article post. I'm not sold he can handle the knowledge and distribute it on the fly like he should be able to....
