Seems you missed the entire point of my post. Sure there are many other factors and you actually just proved my points. There was a list made of teams that made the playoffs which included the percentage of playoff teams with first round picks. I countered with last place teams with first round picks....

For those that want to discuss football, it's hard to place "value" on a QB based on where they are drafted. For example, Lamar Jackson was the 30th overall in the first. Drew Brees was the 32 pick but in the second.
There's also things like distribution. What percentage of all...

I explained this in an earlier post. I then explained to you that is a hypothetical point for DISCUSSION. I don't have to show evidence for this because it's a mathematical fact that drafting more QBs increases the odds of finding one. And your demand is irrelevant to my point.
You say...Last edited by lvbronx; 02-20-2021, 11:46 AM.

That's all you got? You promised you were going to come back at me and all you can do is use a ad hominem logical fallacy about my post boring you. Actually, you can't respond logically to the facts I presented so you claim my post is "boring". To be honest, I didn't expect anything better...

More cherry picking for you dood...and your threat "coming back" is downright funny.
Yes, recent post didn't back up my previous post about drafting a lot of QBs. But again you missed the point when I said, and I'll quote myself for your convenience:
I clearly...

BTW I did your research for you. Your claim of the percent of first round QBs is technically correct. However, it is also inaccurate as to how the teams got them.
Lamar Jackson - first round
Josh Allen - first round
Pat Mahomes - first round
Baker Mayfield - first round...Last edited by lvbronx; 02-20-2021, 10:07 AM.

Your "point" about making the playoffs makes ZERO sense. Of course you have to make the playoffs. What's your point?
Just so you're aware, both Brady and Brees changed teams, which show another way of winning a Super Bowl, you know, like we did with Peyton. In case you missed...Last edited by lvbronx; 02-20-2021, 10:08 AM.

I took a look at these QB rankings for a general guide for good and bad QBs. The exact order doesn't matter.
https://www.nfl.com/news/qb-index-ra...020-nfl-season
First round picks are a high percentage of the top QBs. This seems to be a fairly...

Here's how I see it...lots of other teams can say the same thing. The Jets and Miami both have higher picks than us, as well as two picks this year. They also have Darnold and Tua to offer.
If the Jets or Miami offer 3 #1s and Darnold or Tua. Then consider the Raiders could offer 3 #1s...

Yeah...and it's something like only the 4th time since the merger someone took 25 shots and hit at 84%+. I noticed Joker shot a tech free throw for us. It had been Murray shooting even though his FT% is down. It was kind of strange...we were pretty hot but when we missed we had quite a few air balls....

And/or the Broncos have had cashflow issues from not making the playoffs 5 years in a row, as well as not having stadium naming revenue the past season or two...and now no revenue from attendance. Since cash must be deposited in an escrow account within weeks of agreeing to a contract for all guaranteed...

Bol didn't play against the Celtics, which is telling with all the injuries. From the box score it looks like only Bol and someone named Whittington didn't play.
With all the injuries, there's not a lot I expect from the team. Joker and Murray are our two best players, but IMO our next...

Maybe more telling is Cancar getting playing time over Bol...it doesn't make sense to me unless Bol is in the dog house for some reason or they've totally given up on him....

The good news is, people can now put their money where their mouth is, no matter which side one is on. Anyone here putting REAL money on Fangio being the first to be fired?...

It's more like a women in a night club competing with other women with boob jobs. Sure, the Bowlens can borrow money or sell part or all of the team, which is part of the point of this thread. Using round numbers, the lost live attendance revenue is about the same as the salary cap. Bronco ownership...

Factually incorrect. To say Green Bay is in the exact same boat as the Cowboys with Jerry or the Rams with Kroenke is very inaccurate. If the Broncos had cash flow issues before they will be worse now. Pat Bowlen's pitch to build a new stadium was how he needed the money to compete with the wealthier...

Yep, exactly. Every year 6-7-8 new head coaches are hired and a couple of years later only 1-2 still have their jobs. New coaches are hired that need "their guys" as players for their system, then they're fired and the next guy needs "his guys". You see this pattern repeated again...

The Broncos Financial Situation
I haven't heard or read anything about this, so at this point in time this doesn't even qualify as a rumor but more like what do you think about the Broncos financial situation? It's been reported in the past that the Broncos had cashflow problems. While NFL teams do get most of their money from TV,...

I hate the red uniforms...and of all the local teams the Buffs have the best colors by far.
Tough win tonight. The silver lining was RJ. We got lucky with the goal tending at the end of the 3rd quarter, which was really the difference in the game....

Kyle Shanahan is 22-8 in SF when Garapolo starts. What was VJ's record with his starting QB so we can make an apples to apples comparison? How have the Falcons and Matt Ryan done since Shanahan left? No spin. Just facts please....
