I tend to agree, because the doubters needed to see Brady without Bellyache to fully appreciate him. Even though he is getting near end, which makes it even more relevant. Each week goes by, Brady's group is looking better while BB's group is looking worse. Sure, it's not all on them (either way), but...

    2020 World Series

It's a bit late for this type of thread, but I don't see anything that would work nicely with the 6th game of the 2020 WS. A few things:

    1) I really doubt tv ratings will be good. Tampa is a good team, but not that well known. The Dodgers are both, but not sure this series has enough of...

I am saying this with less smack than fact.....The pats are really done. I have them as my D in both leagues, and even there, I don't see them as a real threat. But their O with Cam is pretty much awful! Poor Edelman is hardly a factor anymore. Makes me rethink how good we played against them, given...

The ole "buyer's remorse"....which I think most of us have dealt with in our lives. I attribute a lot of that to folks getting so pumped about a purchase/selection in this case, that when they finally get their wish, they have over valued it in all the commotion. We sometimes overlook things...

  • That would be lights out quality....given that they have their future QB (I'm pretty sure), and therefore they can go for the best of the best and possibly not even sweat positional need early on, when the draft value is the very highest. If Miami drafts as they should, including recent drafts, and...

For one thing....Houston fans might storm the FO if they lost Hopkins and then Watson in this short timeframe. I mean, why Hopkins in the first place??!!

Fair enough, but Lock is still the guy as far as I am concerned. Unless he regresses and for some duration, I am not too worried....

John Elway, in his first year, including 10 starts...7 TDs and 14 pics. QB Rate of 54.9

Drew Lock in his first 9 games.....8 TDs and 7 pics....QB Rate of 76.5

Sure, not supposed to go back that far, but those weren't good stats, period. And I'm sure he looked like a proje...

So who are you actually blaming? Since spring I think we all knew what we should be doing. No excuses. And again, I am quite sure masks help those from being infected by others....

  • Thanks pal....I blew it. But yeah, Miami isn't looking at a QB. But wow, looks like another great pick for Miami none the less....

  • There are currently 7 teams with one or no wins. They are NYJ (winless), NYG, Jags, Houston, Minnie, Atlanta, and Cinci. Of these teams, 3 of them have young, highly drafted QBs as starters. Houston has a good QB, so they will not be looking at Lawrence. The Jags, Minnie and Atlanta could be in play,...

Is our O as creative as it was in that 4 and 1 stretch with Lock as a rookie? I seem to recall some variety and creative design, sort of what you expect from Reid and company. This is not a fact, but it appears that way, given what I recall from last season.

I agree we've played a number of quality teams already. I would argue that beating The Jets was nothing to boast about, and based on what I saw yesterday, The patsies are no longer relevant.

2 and 4 is not the end of a season. I think we've all had justifiable reasons for sticking up for...

I know where you are going. Mediocrity is ok one year or two, but even though middle of the pack may sound positive, it does prevent you from landing the best of the draft, and it can make you cautious about further changes. I've seen so many organizations who stay somewhere between poor and good for...
