  • Not being pushy. Just think it would help. It's a customer service thing. The first time I suggested a project status sheet, no one replied. So I mentioned it again. This time I was simply asking for less, but thinking it would be easy to do and of some merit....

Not so good after all, but I believe that if Lock stays healthy, we will see some improvement, just like we did with the O when he took over last year. He helps the Oline by throwing quickly thanks to his release capability, and with his athleticism. And if his passing game is where I think it can be,...

I had to miss some of the game so I am not the right guy I suppose, but most of what I saw was Lock having pretty good protection and Lindsay rushing for 100 plus yards, against one of the better Ds in the league. I guess I am saying that, other than what I missed, I liked the "eye test"....

  • I am not asking any longer for a project status report, but I still believe there is merit in providing us "customers" with an occasional update with new solutions, or even things of interest. I was not going to rush back here (because I am ok with the upgrade as is) but I am still a bit interested...

One more thing....when healthy, we have some of the best weapons in the league. In the not too distant future, a group comprised on Lock, Lindsay, Gordon, Sutton, Fant, Jeudy, Hamler and so on, should be among the best. But as we know, injuries often have one upside...they provide the time and opportunity...

Face shields sure are getting trendy. I see more of them all the time, and some are of the smaller, nose and mouth size. Probably easier to clean, and breath, and works for those who like to show of their looks. You see, that's the one reason I'm sticking to masks.

I hope he continues to be a factor and a force. Poor guy took a lot of criticism, and still kept on ticking!

This may be too obvious, but yes:

    1) You get 6 cracks at your division, which is getting close to 40% of your games
    2) If you play in a weaker division (think The pats in some years), you have a distinct playoff advantage
    3) If you are so fortunate as to have a weaker division,...

I agree. Lock has above average arm strength, and as folks have discussed before, it's not something you can teach too much. You can strengthen it over time, but this dude has a rifle now. And I believe he can throw the soft pass. Maybe it's simple mechanics that have to be worked on (as if anyone doesn't...

Interesting to me that after 6 weeks we have not yet faced an AFC West rival. But that changes now, with 3 of the next 4 games:

    KC - week 7
    LAC - week 8
    LV - week 10

By the time we hit week 11, we will probably have a much firmer view about this team and it's positioning,...

Good on them. Good that they are getting the recognition.

I found it interesting how Lock was trying to make a renewed connection with Albert, at least partially. The QB/TE connections are so special, especially on some teams. I believe it will be Lock/Fant for many years, but I saw some chemistry there....though limited. I really believe The Broncos will...

Again, the beauty of it all is we are in the hunt, we suffered numerous injuries, and we just did something we hadn't done in Foxboro in our last 13 attempts!!...

That's your opinion. It's another factor for sure.

Coaches have a role, and as I recall, the sports world were all over that deer in the headlight blunder. It was blatant. Many of us were standing in front of our tvs, calling for him to take action.

I am not just blaming Fangio....

Some folks may not appreciate me (or anyone) supporting the anti-coaching commentary, but critiquing coaches/players/even Elway is ok if done with some decency and logic. I will say it again, Fangio's handling of time outs may have lost us a game (maybe), and regardless of injuries and youth, and slippery...

Sometimes I have to take a step back in time, and assess how I felt before the season. I gave us a playoff shot, helped perhaps by the extra playoff position. But I expected Lock to be the guy, confident, strong arm, low in sacks and hopefully pics. And combined with the really nice new O weapons (Gordon,...

  • So it's going to be Tua Time! I think the young QB fraternity is in good stead for the coming years.
