Wilson’s skills may have diminished, but they haven’t vanished. Most of his good and memorable plays last year were scrambling athletic type plays. He’s still plenty mobile. He may have lost a step, but he is still a mobile QB. He doesn’t need to convert into a pure pocket passer. He will be...

Agreed. We’ll have to wait and see, but I’m expecting a heavy angle block running scheme with short passing, timely PAP, roll outs and deep shots. I’m expecting a much more efficient/ball control offense. I think RW is perfectly capable of running that sort of offense very well. Always have to...

Totally agree that Wilson carries his fair share of the blame and he has a lot to prove. I'm just trying to look at the positives and possibilities of the SP and RW combo. We're stuck with RW, so I'm simply hoping for the best. I think there's evidence that RW can rebound, but he still has to prove...

There were enough good moments from RW last year that I haven't given up hope. He certainly had a bad season and there is plenty of blame to be placed on him. Still, judging by his overall career and some of the play he exhibited last year, I have hope he will be an effective QB and the offense will...

It really is surreal how bad everything went last year. Starting with training glamp and it just went downhill from there. The more I think about it, the more I'm just blown away by how bad it was at every level. What an utter failure.

I highly doubt there will be any blockbuster trades for any starting calibre QBs this year. I understand the desire to move on from RW, but it isn't happening this year. I personally prefer RW and SP have a good connection and we see a greatly improved offense. If RW sucks this year, then it might...

It will be interesting indeed to see how SP designs the offense.
I still maintain that last year's debacle was multi-faceted and was a culmination of failures on many levels: players, coaches, culture, scheme, lack of discipline, lack of accountability, horrible offensive design, mass confusion....

Bottom line, the team looks like it’s finally trending in the right direction. We have a legit HC who is making an early impact. O-line is improved (on paper). RW is in better shape. I’m interested to see how they do this year. I’m not sure just how much better the team will be, but I’m confident...

I was surprised by this. I liked McManus, but he was a little erratic - in both kicking and antics. Still, he was a solid kicker. I hope his replacement is worthy....

I totally understand and agree with some of the criticisms of GP. Here’s the thing, though. I’m willing to see how he and SP work together. I think it’s very important for the HC and GM to work as a united front. I don’t mind if SP takes the lead. It makes sense because he’s that kind of guy....
