  • If that's true then even more Philly had no choice but to take the deal they took, nobody would offer anything better, and nobody else is interested. Either way its a win for all 3. Philly got picks, Wentz gets out of Philly, Indy get who they hope will keep them competing as a playoff team....

  • As Can mentioned when it comes to desperation. I'd wager Philly had a few calls, and most of them heard what Philly wanted and said no deal. Which dropped it down to 2 teams, Chicago and Indy. Wentz reported said he has no interest in Chicago. Which led to fans making memes and jokes on social media...

  • How I see it and something I've mentioned when the Watson saga began, was that Houston wants to drag this out until the draft. They wanna drag it out long enough to where teams lose interest bc of time and needing to build their team for the season. Unless Watson decides to just sit out, threatens to...

NFL if I'm not mistaken is the only major sport that doesn't have it in some form. Even the Euro soccer clubs have academies and B teams they can move players up and down for, but teams can sign players off those B teams. Unlike an AHL team. Ducks can't just go sign a player off the Knights. Players...

Would have been good if the NFL had signed a deal with the AFL or XFL to have one of those be a minor league brand. Similar to how the NHL has the AHL, NBA with G League, and MLB has numerous levels of minor league promotions(Double A, Triple A). This would be good for practice squad players, free agents...

I agree, it's definitely an easy out when it comes to stats. I get into debates often bc I call players great that don't have the numbers people tend to put stock in. Like calling Larry Fitzgerald one of the 5 best wide outs ever. But he doesn't have the glam Moss, Rice, Owens, etc have. His best QB...

Stats are funny. They do provide facts to a debate, but you can fix stats to fit any argument. Positive or bad, cherry picking can be done to suit whichever side. Everyone that uses stats in any degree, has done this, even if it is unknowingly cherry picking. Sports media does it. Before Colin Cowherd...

If you aren't in that Brady, Rodgers, Wilson, Mahomes tier..you're expendable. Like out side of those named, there really isn't a team in the league where you go "He'll be there for his career."...

Eagles probably had to settle. The conditional pick can turn into a first. But they def got less than a lot of sports media was reporting Philly wanted....

I'd wager a lot of people here and fans in general do have a good idea. It's just how that becomes interpreted, how it gets understood, and personal analyst thrown onto as well. A lot of fans pay attention to more than one team, some pay attention to all of them. So they are aware of what's going on...

  • Thanks for the tips you too. I'm 29, so I'd imagine that's fairly young to start wondering or fearing investing. Stocks is one of those things where you see so many numbers, so the brain just assumes that's hard, this is hard. I would fail at trying this. I guess outside of an advisor, my questions...

  • All gonna be based on if Denver has the guts to pull the trigger. Can Denver afford the trade? Yep. Will they tell Houston yes on their price? Who the hell knows. I'd imagine they've already talked to Houston, I'd imagine John and Paton are talking about what is a fair deal. Because in this situation,...

  • I thought about getting into investing and stocks. I just don't know how, what to do, how to do it. It's like a fear of screwing up that also prevents me.

    RIP Marty Schottenheimer

Former Chargers coach, Marty Schottenheimer passed today at 77. He was a great coach.

Didn't say don't give Brady credit. I said the Bucs defense deserves credit, likely more so. Nobody is talking about their defense. People even call the Super Bowl Chiefs vs Brady instead of Chiefs vs Bucs, bc folks don't acknowledge the talent the Bucs have and their coaching....

Honestly wouldn't shock me and there are some excuses for his lack of success that will get pointed out. Jimmy G ain't been the healthiest of QBs. Brian Hoyer was his best QB in 2017, 2018 they had Mullens and CJ. They play in a division where every team is a playoff team...even the Cardinals. I haven't...
