  • Good lord, did Elway steal your girl or something? I wish Elway could call Beth into his office and ask what Pat ever did in the football world that wasn't leached off of Elway?

Anyway, back on topic. It's probably too late to salvage this season anyway. They should have started the year...

  • OK, well, let’s just get this part out of the way. Elway is a top 5 QB of all time. There are only three QBs who could “legitimately” be ranked ahead of him; Brady (who I would love to see playing on the three teams Elway took to the Super Bowl in the 80s) Montana (who would have struggled in...

  • LOL! Somebody get a bandaid, because I think I got cut on your edge. I don't know what's worse; Your complete lack of football knowledge, your ignorance of Elway and Bowlen's relationship, or your nonsensical conspiracy theory....

Yeah, I'm the last person who's going to provide cover for T2Y. But for all of my complaints about him a wiff on a tackle he probably couldn't have made, or even made a difference on, is way down on the list. Given their position, the best Teddy could have done is throw himself a Slay's feet, and it's...

You know what, Dude (?), just keep being positive. I have a pretty deep admiration for it. I tend to keep my mouth shut when things are going well. Call it a superstition (kinda like not talking to a pitcher during a no-hitter), so a positive voice is a refreshing change of pace... And, BTW, you're...

  • I'll never understand the vitriol Elway receives from some. He is far and away the most important person in the history of the franchise. Not only is he the greatest player in its history, he was a pretty good GM. Sure, he struggled finding a QB, but you know who else struggles with that?.. Everybody....

  • Sure, because we didn't win 16 games in 2008 because of Cutler. It didn't have anything to do with the 30th ranked defense or that, because of injuries, our leading rusher had under 350 yards. Cutler was in his 3rd year and he had the third most passing yards, and seventh most TDs in the league. Take...

  • All things that are true of young QBs. Sometimes it gets better (Steve Young), sometimes it doesn't (Jake Plummer), but as long as Teddy 2 Yards is the worst 3rd down QB in the NFL, people are going to want to see if Drew can get better....

  • No doubt about it, we need look no farther than our own back yard. Just look what Shanny was building Cutler into, and what happened to him under Lovie Smith and Ron Turner... Instant regression.

Very rarely does a great QB develop without the right coach and situation. Any other team in...

That pretty much goes without saying... Look how many average to bad QBs Shanny turned into pro bowlers... Griese, Plummer, Cutler, RGIII. Not to mention what he did with bona fide HOFers......

Just going to put in this little mea culpa... I thought I read that it was 3/$60 mil, which would have made him a top 5 paid WR... this is a solid deal....

If I'm completely honest, I've been a little worried about Sutton's play this year. His lack of effort on some plays have made me wonder how much the injury is weighing on him. It's not that he's been bad, but, at times, it's almost as if he's not willing to make that extra effort to get a ball that...

Nothing wrong with a little optimism, and I do think this team is stacked with talent. The QB situation just seams to be holding it back.

I also think Paton has a heck of eye for talent. PS2 looks like a cant miss CB, QB was a much bigger need, and I suspect he has some kind of emotional...

Well, maybe I misworded it. Maybe I should have said "very little hope for the future." As it stands right now, the future looks bleak. The college QB crop is not strong (I like the kid out of Pitt, but almost everybody is a project), and the likelihood of us getting a Rogers or Wilson is...

I'm always happy for a Broncos win, but, if at the end of the season, we don't make the playoffs, and have no hope for the future, will you be happy then?...

For me, this season was over before it even started. I was never for drafting Lock when everybody was talking about taking him in the first round (the second-round flyer was fine with me), but of all the QBs on the roster he is the only one that had a chance to improve and possibly take full advantage...

I guess this is where I just have a different perspective than a lot of people. The stat line doesn't tell the entire story of what I thought I saw. I thought it was a huge red flag that Teddy needed extra (IE 4th down attempts) downs on both of his TD passes. I felt it demonstrated his inability to...

    You're kidding, right?

1st: Elway has no power anymore (could we please stop turning the person who is directly responsible for 7 of our 8 Super Bowls into a super villain). The only reason he is still there is because Ellis knew better than to outright fire the most important person in...
