  • Anti-Elway campaign ? Yes, as a general manager Elway had some early success, but the facts are the facts. Are you happy with the Broncos being in the cellar, again ? What I said are the facts, how you take that in terms of it being anti-anything is your choice, but hating the messenger shows your own...

  • Spending bulk resources on offense and pushing out this putrid attack, Elway is hardly looking "smart".

Well what does a "good enough" player get paid then ? What is a "good enough" contract? Because in the off-season when I said exactly the way this has panned out, and the concerns with paying him large money for the long-term, I was apparently a hater. But now, he is again the inconsistent,...

Good enough is fine, but not when they are playing on the franchise tag and wanting one of the richest deals ever for playing the position. Context matters, and Simmons being "good enough" just isn't good enough on the money he wants....

Great value, would jump on that in a heartbeat. Simmons is good, even great on the occasional Sunday, but he is still that consistent guy to me who if you pay him that 15 million-plus contract, it will only be a letdown and drain on the cap for years to come. He is not a game-breaker....

  • Promote him to the front office? Not only are Denver now are a perennial loser, but they are also one of the most ill-disciplined off-field organizations in the NFL. Elway better find himself another Manning very soon.

  • I was just with a friend and we watched the Giants games all in condensed, and holy hell Daniel Jones is worse than I thought he was going to be. I tell you what, that pick is looking horrible, his horrible pocket presence at Duke has been amplified by 100 in the NFL, lucky stars my god.

I separated my AC joint playing football, like what happened to Trevor Siemian a couple times over, and it lingers, I'd imagine a dislocated shoulder would be worse as well. Also, a dislocated anything could always be a risk to damage surrounding tendons, rotator cuff, etc. So might not be a straight...

  • Probably wont be far behind where Lock was anyway, I'd prefer him to anyone else on the roster right now. Rypien is a smart quarterback but he has a really weak arm which really limits him. I wouldn't be suprised to see a win with Rypien putting together a quality game manager type performance. If we...

The results are what matters, and the "facts and context" you provide do not change the results, which are bad. So, yes, technically you are providing factual statements, but you are using them to justify the losing organization of which the Elway regime has now turned into. But it doesn't...

  • Everyone has their own definitions and measuring sticks I guess. Really really well to me would suggest he is playing good football and doing his job, I wouldn't say that. You can see the skill he has, but he has been a non-factor as a receiver out of the backfield, that was the main thing he was meant...

That criticism of Shurmur is fair, he needs to make adjustments, and I have been disappointed in this mostly. However, Munchak is working with scraps man, he isn't a miracle worker. Bolles is our best offensive lineman, Bolles. Risner and Glasgow look out of sorts, Cushenberry doesn't look ready, and...

I see excuse after excuse after excuse to prop up a man who has now more than likely led the organization to 4 straight losing seasons. You can argue the little details here or there, corona, sick coach, etc. but every team has adversity. The last time we had back to back losing seasons was the 70's,...

What about last year ? Or the year prior ? Or the one before that ? Or what about the one before that ? The constant inability to solve the problem areas of the team have again shown early in the season we are poorly built. Maybe we will win a few nothing games again towards the back end and the year...

I wasn't into drafting a guard at 5, but I wasn't involved in that debate which occurred. I do however get criticized often for my beating of the dead horse which is the hope that off-season after off-season we commit multiple early-round picks to the offensive line....

Too slow. We need more wideouts who run quicker, the fans around here love that. Weren't we like the off-season champs after Elway double dipped at wideout in the draft ? Anyway, as Eminem once said, "snap back to reality". 4 straight losing seasons is on the way thanks to Mr. Elway, he has...
