Honestly my “wish list” plan starts at the top. Resolve the ownership, front office and coaching issues.
Broncos are missing consistent and reliable decision-making. They have no identity or plan. They keep being reactive instead of setting a course and sticking to it. Likely because...

I agree that Watson at QB is an intoxicating idea. But at what cost?
There are at least a couple other teams that can offer better deals. Broncos getting involved in a bidding war against them is counterproductive. Unless there is some version of your plan where Watson demands to be traded...Last edited by FR Tim; 03-01-2021, 01:56 PM.

Right there with you. Prefer Parsons unless proven undesirable.
And would be open to the strategy if they chose to draft Cox in the third instead of spending money in Free Agency.
I like Johnson and Jewell. But the want to “ love” the impact.
Would be interesting...

Sounds like you have the luxury of calling your own shots by being a contractor.
NFL is a different business model though.
But what would happen if you chose to sign an above industry standard compensation exclusive 5 yr contract with one of those crap companies. It is your...

Getting tired of seeing other teams with dominating ILBs making impact plays then I watch the Broncos ILBs be oh so average. Disappointing.
Parsons would be an exciting addition. Assuming Fangio could make use of a dynamic athletic ILB.
Playing around with mocks, sometimes...

Out of curiosity, has anyone seen/heard any reports of Lock working this off-season?
Did see an article in early Feb stating he and Jeudy would be working out together at some point. Still very early but anything?
Whether the Broncos trade him or not, I would like to see...

My preferred #9 is still Parsons (depending on depth of the character issues) . But could just as easily be happy with Surtain or Farley and target Cox in the 3rd as a nice second choice.
I am finding it hard to choose an OT in the first 3 rds. Whether we like it or not, the Broncos are...

I’m assuming it did. It certainly reveals incompetence IMO. Yet Watson still signed his mega extension a couple months later even after years of seeing the organization run and make mistakes. Why?
Let’s use another industry. Tom Cruise gets approached to make the next Mission Impossible...

I have no clue what you are trying to say here. Please review your spelling, auto fill or thoughts before hitting “send”
I’ll take a wild guess. Hopkins traded in May. Watson signed new contract in September. Kind of supports the concept that Watson knew what he was getting into when...

I'm confused with some of you insisting this dysfunction came "after" he signed the contract in Sept 2020.
Pretty well documented that much of this started back in early Summer 2019. Clowney traded. Multiple questionable if not downright stupid trades for well over a year after...

I just see it differently. He joyously signed the extension on Sept. 5, 2020. After spending 3 yrs in the organization. He never realized the team was dysfunctional before that? All was suddenly revealed to him "after". Seriously?
Instead of your contractor hypothetical, I would...

Only question I have for Watson is why sign the new contract if you wanted out?
That was the time to express your dissatisfaction and desire to leave. Even if he had to play hard ball with the Franchise Tag issue, he still hits free agency and gets a new contract with his new team. ...

Watson’s no trade clause certainly makes the situation even more difficult for the Texans and more interesting for the fans.
As pointed out, would Watson really want a move to the Panthers without McCaffrey? The Jests? Does he like/ trust Fangio and Shurmur? Or thrilled about a potential...

Not sure what a “throw away season” is. Every season has goals, expectations, and outcomes.
I don’t think the organization just quits and passively goes through the season. Hard to even guess what the goals and expectations are until we see what the first moves are IMO. Once they...

To play Devil's Advocate... wouldn't your comment apply to the Broncos too?...

Kind of my long winded point.
The discussion continues to be "what would you be willing to give" when an equally as important question should be "how long are you willing to wait"?
Broncos are already a cluster, Reportedly a lame duck HC, OC and a vote...

The delay of a decision is what concerns me, it's a potential season killer.
I am on the fence about the overall trade for Watson. Thrilled to see his talent added, just not sure I am on board with the speculated market price to trade for him. Not arguing the potential of bring him in....

Interesting idea of back to back CBs. I don't think the Broncos would though. I have no issue with the #9 pick for Farley or Surtain, (early draft crush is Parsons though) but prefer they spend some money on a quality vet or two to balance out the CB room. That rookie CB is the future, but year one...

I understand that approach. Just don't entirely agree with it. At some point they and Watson will need to sit in a room and make up and say their goodbyes. As I stated, I think they work it out and he remains in HOU because any deal they make to move him is going to feel like they got screwed. And to...
