    Brandon Cooks traded to RAMS!!!

HAHAHA...... I really wish those Pats fans were around. Their team appears to be a mishap waiting to happen this off-season....

I think it was a good move because NE has Cooks' potential replacement in recently acquired Cordarrelle Patterson from OAK and now with the 23rd, 31st, 43rd, and the 63rd pick, NE can fix their defensive woes or trade up for Brady's replacement.

    23: DT
    31: ILB
    43: CB
    63: OL

or package their picks for one of the top QBs that have slid in the draft.

    Rosen? Allen?

    Solid move by NE, IMO.

They traded the 32nd pick for him, he was their 3rd and 4th (at times) target and helped them get back to the Super Bowl. Then they traded him for the 23rd pick, seems like they really did a good job in this case.

How so Stack? Your comment strikes me as premature until we find out what the Pats do with that pick.

He represents a significant hole to fill, but the Pats have bigger needs and their WR corp is still pretty good.

It's not just trading him.... Now they're down two very important WR's, Have a TE who is either retiring to join the WWE or doesn't get along with the coach, Have a Coach, Owner, and QB that we're being told are at odds....... From the outside looking in, it looks like the wheels are falling off....

This isn't the first year people have celebrated on the Pats' grave prematurely - and much like years past, I'm guessing the reports of their demise are greatly exaggerated.

At some point the Pats will regress, but I don't expect it'll be this year. I expect the New England Invitational (formerly known a the AFC Championship), will once again include the Pats. Hopefully they'll be playing Denver.

I don't know.... They seem to have lost more players of importance this year than in the past and there's something going on in that building. I may be wrong, but I think the ride is coming to a close sooner than later.

Surprised the Rams gave up a first for Brandon Cooks, think the Pats got the best of that deal.

That said I think the Pats have done a pretty poor job in the draft and FA over the last 5 years, they don't give Brady enough help on offense and the D always seems to be struggling, it cost them against the Eagles.

Its hard to argue with their record of SB appearances but that is pretty much all on Brady, he seems to overcome a lack of talent at key positions. While he is there they will still be huge contenders but once he slows down.... which will happen at some point....... they will go downhill quickly

Lets see. Brady, Gronk, Edelman, White, Belichick, McDaniels. I think we'll be just fine.
