    Perspective

I think one of the things that most Football Fans ( Bronco Fans especially) Want when all is said and done, is a return on an investment. We invest a lot of time and tears and money in support of our team, and we want them to win so badly that we are willing to drop our current starting QB because he just isn't cutting it, and start our # 1 draft pick. I for one thought it would get easier after the first super bowl win, as far as the drive and determination to see them win another but Darned if it didn't get worse. I want them to win another so badly I can't think of anything else during the season. so I can feel that feeling again. I don't mind Plummer dropping to # 2, if it gets us that much closer to another Super Bowl.

Agreed. It destroyed me last season when we came so close to the Super Bowl last season and fell just short. I hope and pray that Cutler can lead us their and I believe he eventually will.

Eventually, huh? So it's okay to have a losing season or 2 because it's Cutler? Are we supposed to call for his head when his does lose a few games? It happened to Griese...and every QB who's come through here. At least we were makin' the playoff with Jake.....granted that isn't the goal, the Superbowl is....but eventually isn't gonna cut it for me.

We are so blinded by our love of Elway, that we forget that he lost plenty of games and Superbowls.....but WE STUCK BY HIM EVEN THOUGH HE LED US NOWHERE UNTIL HIS LAST 2 SEASONS. Did we call for a new QB every time we lost a Superbowl..... Plummer led us to the AFC Championship game last year, maybe if we woulda supported him this year, instead of hating and wanting Cutler so bad, things woulda been different.

      PEACE!!!

Well its not up to the fans its up to the coach so obviously he sees something in Cutler that he does'nt see in Jake.I believe that he made a smart decision.

Plummer didn't REALLY lead us to the AFC Championship Game, The steelers beat Indy for us. It got dropped in our lap AT HOME and he LOST it for us. Plain and simple. I for one was looking forward to seeing him play very well this year, but he shot his wad last season.

That was his last best hope for a ring as a starting QB. *Choke,Gag

Um.. ..even if Indy beat the Steelers, we woulda been in the AFC Championship game, and yes Jake led us there...weather it be in our house or Indys....

And I called for Elways A$$ to be benched more than once for crappy play, so it is not just blind faith, Elway was just something special. Plummer is special for a whole other reason.

Okay, again, I was stating that Jake led us to the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.....we coulda been playing "The Old Lady" in "Her Shoe" for all I care......we were in the AFC Championship Game.......Steelers, Indy it doesn't matter who......We were 1 game away from the Superbowl and Jake was our Leader.

It's Super Bowl Champion, or wasted season as far as I'm concerned.

As I recall, Elway led us to a loss against Jacksonville and yet I didn't see any "Get rid of Elway" headlines.........we stood by him and he came back to led us to the Superbowl....think we coulda done that if we threw him under the bus as we have done with Jake? I THINK NOT!!!!

Well hell, that was into his 15th year so I think we knew what to expect from him. Besides, He took us to the lead in that game if I remember, not to a turnover. Comparing Jake Plummer to John Elway is like Comparing a Turd to an apple pie. The defense let us down in the Jacksonville game not John Elway. (Micheal Dean Perry) Jake couldn't convert a third down if it roomed with him in college. But I'm sure he would grow a beard.
