    Great article about Tommy Nalen

This was in today's RMN, I enjoyed it because info about him is hard to come by.

I agree it was a great article and it also gave some good laughs too, especially about the shoes.

while I'm dissapointed at the fact that they do have to talk to the media; at the same time it's nice to see the human side of our 1000 yard rushing machine.

Thanks for the read. That's a great article.

    As a rookie
Nalen then weighed 260 pounds at 6-foot-3.
Nalen was released for four days after his first training camp, only to be re- signed as a developmental prospect.

"They told me they were going to sign me to the practice squad," he said. "I don't know if I believed them at the time."
Wow. His first start was game 4 of the 95' season.

    His rookie year.

A Ring Of Famer no doubt. Right where he belongs.

To be honest we should be pretty pissed. I bet if he'd been talking all this time his quote collection would rival Rod's

    GREAT article, thanks for posting!

I have always said the guys in the trenches are more important for long term success on a football team than any other position. They don't get nearly enough credit.

That was a good article about a subject we don't often see, an O-lineman's world.
