    Can anyone read Japanese here?

Its a serious question, I bought something has a Japanese engraved on it, and wanted to see if someone can translate it.

If not does someone know someone who does?

Wish I could read (and speak) Japanese. And my mother is no longer living.

I don't know if Cinny can help you or not.

I did find some web sites that might help. (I take it you're talking about kanji)

    http://spencer.blackmarket.net/dic_word_kanji.asp

    http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html

    http://www.kanji.de/KanjiQuick_e.html

    http://www.rikai.perl/Home.pl

The last site, you paste text in a box, press 'GO', move the mouse over any Japanese word to see the reading and definition.

2 days of Japanese 1 under my belt, I'll give it a shot.

I have dictionaries of kanji, katakana, and hiragana but I'm not sure if I can do it.

    We're pitiful.

And people probably look at us and expect us to speak Japanese. Did you see the Japanese player on MNF? His # was ichiban. Good hands and quick. (Part of his last name would probably be ** out )

It would take forever to find the matches in your dictionaries.

Bronco_Armada, is there a Japan-America Society near you? Or, maybe a college that has Japanese classes?

    Post an image of it.

I minored in Japanese and if I can't read it, my step-grandma should be able to. Or my friend Masa.

    Anyway, just post an image.

    Cool. You've got some help.

I also thought of someone else. ManFromJapan. He's an American living in Japan with his Japanese wife. Maybe I can get some things translated, too.

Post it up here and I'll see if my wife can read it. She minored in Japanese and she might still be able to read a bit.

Is that slang for "Or my friend's Master"? Like "Yessa masa"?
