I swear we need to fire this freak so we can get a better D-Line and Defense.

    Jim Bates must leave Denver..
    JIM Bates MUST GO..

Fire him tomorrow and look for someone with good experience and someone who is actually good and will improve your Defense and the way they do business..

In 05 we had a great Defensive Coach, we fired him signed Bates and lost all our matchups mainly because of our defense.

    PLEASE DO SOMETHING SHANNAHAN!

The same guy who helped lose us an AFC CG (asides Plummer), and made the travesty that was last years defense.

Bates may be bad, but Coyer wasn't that great either.

150 lbs of pure steel and sex appeal.

Actually last years defense was pretty good until they got worn out late in the season from the offense not playing their part and helping to keep them off the field. Coyer's biggest issue was making adjustments that matched the opposing offenses' adjustments at halftime. Bates system just sucks eggs from the first defensive snap.

Is it just me, or did the defense just win that game for Denver?

Besides all that, Bates hasn't been running his "system" since before the bye week.

Also, it's my opinion that Coyer lost his job because of a poor defensive line, hopefully they fix that before they scape another goat......

    I'm voting for Bates.

Considering Denver had arguably the worst dline in the NFL, he did a great job in a handful of games of devising a gameplan to shut down some very good offenses this year.

Get Bates some players for his system!

Jim "Master" Bates is to NFL defenses as to what Phillip River's is to class acts.

    OUR MAIN Problem this year:

    Our defense and offense..
    For say:

Our defense was killed in Denver by San Diego.. Along with offense...

Our Defense was killed in Detroit.. Along with offense..

We need big adjustments made to our team, not to our players but our coaches as well..

    I say

    Fire Bates,Alexander,Martinez.

Denver was bad in all 3 phases of the game. Offense, Defense and Sp. Teams. That's no secret.

No Elam and several costly Viking mistakes won that game. And they've been trying to slow feed his defense, hence all the confusion. And if Coyer lost due to last year's line, then Bates should be banned from the NFL.

Well in Chicago it was Special Teams who couldn't stop that damn Hester.

    It was embarrasing.

I'm thinking Denver's defense should be banned.

Bates track record as a DC was great until he came to Denver, and the organization ruined him.

It's not rocket science, dont kick it to him.

And it wasnt just the Chicago game, Denver struggled to make plays on Sp. Teams all year.

Every year it's bad, now that I think about it.
