If I go snow skiiing, and I'm pretty good, I don't go near the black diamonds. Moguls are boring to me. They may be more challenging, but I prefer going as fast as I can on the blue runs. *shrugs*

I loved the two car pushing and pulling that happened at the race this weekend.
You always knew these guys were athletes, but what they did was amazing. You know they had to be mentally exhausted at the end of the race-and I think that is one of the reasons so many cautions happened.
The human mind and body can only take so much. With all the "teaming up" to push and pull, and mixing racers personalities, and see who was teaming up with who after a caution...it really made for a fun and entertaining race.
Now, I will admit I am not a diehard Nascar fan. I enjoy watching the races when they are on Fox. Once they move to TNT and ESPN...its just not the same. Fox just makes it more fun to watch- the personalities, the camera angles, the super-slow-mo and digger cams...all of that is missed when it moves over to the other networks.
Usually the race will be on, but I'll be doing something else-reading, cruising the net, leaving and hearing it on the radio to go do errands...but this past weekend, I stayed glued to the TV the whole time, because it was changing so fast.
I guess I just get used to how one play in football can change the whole game, and it seemed like this weekend Nascar came really close to having that...and it kept my attention.sigpic

Have fun!
Saw an interview (one of many) with Trevor. He was talking about getting phone calls. Mentioned one was from Tim Tebow. Wasn't really listening, but when someone mentions a Bronco, my ears perk up.
Thought that was cool.Administrator

Busch's head home next week. Local favs in Vegas. I root for them too.
Bummed to see Bobby in the wreck today but glad he was able to get back on the track and maintain some points. -16 and tied for 7th isn't too bad considering.

Still waiting on the word about this weekend.
Our friends with the tickets are going through some major family crisis. Long story and I'll spare you the drama.
Anyway, the tickets are apparently going to be sitting at will call. Must have ID to pick them up. If they decide they're not going, he's going to see about transferring ownership but wasn't quite sure how that would work.
At first he said he was just going to burn the tickets.
3rd row at the start/finish line would be sweet and sounds exciting!:usa: *** God Bless Our Military Men And Women*** :usa:

Really hate the fact that their family is going through so much right now. Basically it has to do with their 18 year old that ran away. He just had his birthday last week, wrecked his car with no insurance and then split.
The tickets to the race were a surprise gift and now.....:usa: *** God Bless Our Military Men And Women*** :usa:
