I like our recievers alot more as a group than I did last year.

Marshall, Jackson, Stokley, Colbert, Royal, Parker........Javon is a good player but I think we improved the position as a whole.

    Wow, very nice write up.

A lot of people have this perception that Walker is an elite reciever but when you really break it down, he only had two great seasons. Couple his injury and locker room problems and we made a solid pickup- especially considering the state of his knee at the end of last season.

I can't believe these two are even being mentioned in the same question. The obvious answer is Javon Walker. If his knee blows out I would be completely wrong. But I think not paying Javons measly 5 million was a mistake.

Maybe you should have bothered to read the article before making snap judgments.

Whitey-Just curious because the stats showed the contrary.

I like most, would have expected Walker to blow Jackson out of the water but apparently that is not the case.

I just read the entire article, and guess what? Javon Walker is still a way better value than Jackson.

When it comes to a team the receiver is almost more important than the QB. Cutler threw some crap and Javon could still catch it.

Javon is a super talent. Probably the best hands in the league, even though he doesnt get the credit.

His knee is a factor, but his hands are not. So long as he can hobble on the field he's a better value than Jackson.

Stats mean nothing to me. I remember what I saw, and Javon could catch anything, his hands are way better therefore regardless of what stats say I'd rather have him on the end of a pass than Jackson.

Well that says it all to me. I'm done trying to talk sense into you. Your going to buy into whatever it is you believe regardless of fact, or not.

I don't possibly see how you can call Walker a better "value" than Jackson. He costs way less and has the same production.
