Would you trade Champ Bailey for.....

    Simple question....
Would you trade Champ Bailey, and our first round pick this year for another team's first round pick for the chance to pick Rey Maualuga MLB from USC in next year's draft?
If it is up to me?...I say hell yes. This dude is a stud and having an elite corner means nothing if you can't stop the run or rush the passer...Go ahead and slam me know, but please take a minute and think about this question.......

I say no. The one person besides D.J. that actually comes to play on our D, and you wanna give him away?!?! Hell no.

What about the rights to draft Rey Rey and then another 2nd or third round pick for which to draft a pass rusher?

i have been for trading champ for a long time . . . . not because i dont, he is my favorite player, but the fact is he isnt going to be what he was 2 years ago, i think i would trade champ but i dont know his value

he is getting older and def not worth as much as he was

so yes i would i guess, depending on where we end up in the draft

Let me guess.. then we can trade Cutler so that we have a shot at Tebow? Uh... NO! An unproven college standout(especially at USC) does not warrant trading away an elite corner. IMO a decent-good LB is a lot easier to find then a good-decent cb.

Absolutely not. First off Champ is 1 of only 2 players (dj) that can actually play defense. Second we are not gaining enough for it. I don't think you trade a pro bowl defender for a rookie who hasn't proven anything at the NFL level yet. You especially wouldn't trade him as well as another first round pick to go with it for only 1 first rounder. I don't care who the kid is.

I'd trade Bailey for every pick in a team's draft that was drafting in the top five.

No his trade value at this age has gone down. Besides he's Champ!

Let give DOOOM a little love here also
Hillis will be the best full back in the league by the end of the year!!!!!!!!!

    Are you serious?

ANY draft pick can bust. You don't trade a proven Pro Bowl player, possibly the best ever at his position, for a potentially great player that could just as easily bust and screw your salary cap for years.

And you certainly don't throw a 1st round pick ON TOP of that stupid trade!

Yeah but he didnt' say Champ alone for the kid. He said our First rounder plus Champ for 1 first rounder. Champs stock has not dropped so much that we are only getting 1 player in return for 2. You can't assume their first rounder is better than the 1 we would get

No --not for just the CHANCE to draft Rey--but I would for a 1st round pick AND a CURRENT pass rushing specialist, ala Robert Mathis of Indy. It would have to be a 2fer-1 otherwise I do not trade Champ and certianly not Champ & our #1.

Oh and about Dumervil. I love him to death but you gotta look at the stats. The sackmaster has 0 sacks in 3 games and a measly 2 total tackles. Not very impressive
