Some of these probably have been mentioned, but some of my faves:

Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly - good celtic punk

Foo Fighters - Dave Grohl is my favorite musician, great songwriter

AFI - Decemberunderground is ok, but check out The Art of Drowning if you like dark, loud punk

Muse, Shiny Toy Guns - modern rock, not sure how to classify but I like em.

Queens of the Stone Age - Great motorcyle riding music, bad if I'm trying to obey traffic laws

Silversun Pickups - One of my favorite newer bands. Good songwriting.

    Chevelle - Good snowboarding music.
I knew there was a reason I liked you, other than being a fellow Rifleonian errr I mean redneck.

My favorite music of all time is Irish Punk. The Tossers are my favorite band here is a taste if you've never heard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV_L6T6mhRo

And they're going to be in Gunnison April 25th. I will be there drunk off my ass drinking Guinness by the gallon.

I'll check them out at home (no youtube at work) - I love the traditional Irish Folk songs with a modern punk rendition, in that area the Murphy's reign supreme. And they just keep getting better and better.

As far as original I really like Flogging Molly, the songwriting and lyrics are amazing. Have you heard their latest, Float? Absolutely incredible songwriting.

I'll be drinking gallons of whisky in Moab that same weekend

I love float. I have seen FM twice once in Denver and once in Vegas baby. Flogging Molly is the band that turned me on to the genre. Check out some Pogues PA, they essentially invented it.

Here you go Music fiends, here is weird ass ish for you. This guy's name is Sleeves and he writes these odd little tunes for my favorite radio show Ron & Fez. He is a freaky strange dude, but also a crazy genius.

I hate you. You know a good brother would give that to the brother who truly loves the band.
