    Pat Bowlen

Don't know if this has been posted:

    Bowlens comments

Asked to clarify, Bowlen said he is steadfastly supports his new coach and his disappointment lies in the way Cutler has handled the situation.

That's gotta hurt, hope the cry baby understands that bowlen's a meany poop head too.

It's the easiest way for bowlen to lay blame on cutler just like mcdaniels has.

We got two wussies running the show that can't stand up and own their mistakes

    True.

But the beauty lies in the fact that these two dimwits will own the losing records we are in store for.

Come on guys...don't blame Bronco's management for this mess!

Cutler, egged on by his agent, made a play for a more lucrative contract and Bowlen didn't want any part of it. Cutler will now have to pay for his and his agent's mistake - when one plays with fire one might get burned.

If Cutler gets traded to Detroit look for Cutler to have a new agent!

I hope the only place we send him is detroit. GL to him to make that franchise good with one of if not the worst O-line in the league.

    Crap !!

Bunch of Crap !! If Cutler get traded to Detroit or Cleveland or wherever, all that's going to happen is that team is going to do everything in it's power to lock him down and franchise him. Cook and Cutler don't care what any of you hate-Cutler people think. Plenty of teams will want to lock him down and franchise him.

Maybe I do. But i respect cutler for his talent, his arm, his passion, his commitment to the team and his standup to a scoundrel in mcdaniels.

can we safely assume bowlen is a reasonable man

and if we can assume he is a reasonable and intelligent man, dont you think bowlen knows that Jay is doing something contrary to what he believes is right in terms of how Jay is dealing with the coach and the situation in general?

would bowlen be able to perceive if mcdaniels is incompetent based on his dealings in the matter and his previous experiences as an owner? so im not surewhy people are assuming both mcd and bowlen are idiots in handling a player

Cut the Personal crap - it's about the money

Sims signs for 6mil over two years. Jay gets just over 1 mil??? Come on!!

Bowlen needs to man up to mthe money plate!!!! We in Denver deserve better business than this. We have (Bowlen too) have a better chance at winning and post season money more now than ever. Get it done already.

Jay deservestop money. Best pure passer in the league, Natural pocket feel. Best potenial for greatness in the league. Everyone wanted a John Elway type ...Well he is it!!! Pay Him!!!
    This is the NFL!!

    Don't sing it... Bring It!!!!!

You are incorrectly assuming that a guy worth millions (maybe over a billion considering the worth of an NFL franchise in this day and age) thinks like you or I would.
Fire Rick Dennison - This Signature will stay until the worst playcaller in the NFL is gone.

Yeah, if Simms did get that contract as a backup (not sure, a link to the official number would be nice), then there's no way that Jay shouldn't get a nice big contract at this point. Or did I miss something and Chris Simms suddenly grow a cannon arm and the ability to effectively read defenses?

    I'll go one better...

Bowlen is pulling the strings. He wanted Shanny and anyone to do with him out.. I'm guessing the interview with each head coach included the statement.. "Would you have a problem cleaning house ...even Jay Cutler.?"

    Mc D. " No Sir"

    Bowlen, "You're hired"
