Proud of this place called home. Near record lows, with wind chills of around -60F.....and hardly anything shut down thru the worst days. These dudes are tough......maybe a bit crazy!

Ours has been the normal. 50-70 one day, 30 the next. We've gotten down to the single digits. I hibernate.

We did have the rainiest fall, though. I hope that doesn't mean we're going to have a ton of mosquitoes.

I need to go start a congrats thread for you.

Negative six in the south Denver metro this morning. Perfect weather for a Triple Dog Dare.

We had a beautiful January, there was somewhere close to 15 days above average with just 3 or 4 below average. And then February happened, it's been freakin cold here the last week. Like highs in the minus 20's (I think it's somewhere between 0 and -10 F) and windchills below -40 (the two meet at -40) a few days. The two week forecast has everyday below average as well, although the deep freeze should end next week. Stupid February, ruins everything.

We lived in Maine when I was a kid and remember that dare. Never took it.

I'm glad it doesn't get that cold here. I would go back to CA. Be careful and stay warm.

15 below when I got done working, it was 8 below the night before.

No humidity or wind tonight so it wasn't terrible, there was a slight breeze last night though that really made it not fun.

8 degrees in TX? That seems strange to me.

Lol... It's not all that uncommon. Texas is a very big state, meaning its a lot further north than most folks think. I am separated from Kansas by a mere 36 miles. I live in the northwest corner of the northeast county in the panhandle. Brownsville Texas is the southern most point in Texas. It is almost 900 miles to Brownsville from here. On ONE highway (highway 83 if you're curious). If you ate interested, I posted a thread in the locker room and it kinda lays out how far I am from everything sports wise.
