Quick info on him I found:

    - Posted 24.5 sacks in his junior/senior years at UCLA (as a defensive end)
    - Lacks ideal frame, size, and leverage
    - Uses his speed to get around people, lacks any separation from tackles once he is engaged
    - Drafted 88th overall in the 3rd round of the 2008 draft
    - Was active for only 5 games in the 2008 season, and did not post one tackle. Waived at the start of the 2009 season by the Steelers
    - Was inactive all 2009 season, waived by the Patriots a few days ago

So we essentially got a one-dementional speed pass-rusher where his best position is at 3-4 OLB, but lacks the talent to be even a capable backup. I don't know how he was drafted so high, he doesn't look all that impressive.

Well atleast everyone hes brung over has contributed in some way to the team. Gaffney does anyways, lets hope this guy can do the same off the bench or where ever he fits into the 3-4 system.

    Exclamation Wow!

Six Ex-Pats McDaniels has brought to the Broncos out of over eighty currently on the roster!

    That's a lot!

Although I can see the legitimate crticism from all you ex-backers and backer coaches.

    Very legitimate criticism.

Amazing how being an ex-Patriot adds to your scouting report in McD's opinion.

Well its just something to look foward to atleast if they are coming off the bench or w/e and make an impact.

I don't get it lol. When you sign a player that you want to make an impact on your team in some way, it shouldn't matter that they played for the team you used to coach for. This just shows McD is still a patriot at heart :go:

It shouldn't but it atleast worked with Gaffney and helped us in the end.

True, and I always thought Gaffney was decent and underrated. I told Eagles fans how stupid their team was for cutting him after preseason years ago and they didn't take me serious. Show em this year Gaffney.

Interesting note here, Stanbach played QB in college for the Huskies

He was team MVP in 2006 as well

    stanback is versatile.

I doubt he makes the roster but if he does, he would probably have some sort of gimmick role.

As mentioned above he was the Huskies QB, and returned kicks for a few years with the Cowboys if im not mistaken. Possibly a poor mans cribbs type of guy? although nowhere near Cribbs abilities. I doubt he makes it.
