My Five Favorite rappers right now

    1) J. Cole! the dude is to nice!
    2) Big Krit. Obviously such a killer
    3) Schoolboy Q anybody heard the song "Hands on the Wheel"? Check it out!
    4) Kendrick Lamar- The kid has a bright future although his voice does bother me sometimes
    5) Nipsey Hussle! Saw the dude live and he reminds me alot of a young snoop dogg.

People who aren't on this list because they're more famous or have been around awhile

    1) The Game

is always going to be one of my favorites i'm working on seeing him here in AZ which would be my 3rd time seeing him and the other 2 times were in 2 seperate states!

    2) Aesop Rock always brings the noise!

    3) Immortal technique. I really admire his ability to rap about politics his word play is ferocious.
    DENVER STAND UP!!!

    Anybody familiar with Shawn Chrystopher?

Apparently, he's an established underground artist. I just heard him for the first time today in the song "Alligator Sky" - Owl City

I am also feeling Kendrick Lamar's album.

Peep the Man With The Iron Fist soundtrack. It's funky fresh, as the streets used to say. The Score is outta sight as well.

Chief Keef's debut album Finally Rich is pretty amazing. Pretty consistent with what people have already heard from him, he isn't lyrical and he isn't trying to be. I hate this misconception that a rapper has to be lyrical to make good songs/albums.

Casey Veggies put out Life Changes a few weeks back, I haven't listened to all of it yet. So far it's pretty good, I usually like whatever Veggies puts out though.

Well I'm more of a mainstream hip-hop guy, but I'm excited for Drake's new album as well as Lil Wayne's new album! I also think that Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City" album is very good. Here are my top 5 favorite rappers (currently):

    1. Kendrick Lamar
    2. 2Chainz
    3. Drake
    4. A$AP Rocky
    5. Lil Wayne
