    Sam Bradford Signs....Record breaking deal.

    Holy....

For a player who has never taken an NFL snap? This is getting beyond a joke.

Lol thats a lot of money for a player I personally think is going to suck.

There really should be a rookie salary cap...thats such a joke.

This is why we rushed to sign Tebow before this happened. This would have inflated his value sky high.

    Dodged a bullet, Xanders, McDaniels.
    Brock you like a hurricane!

Think of a bigger, stronger, more handsome Eli Manning.... That's Fargo.

I love Tebow's contract, it's basically so incentive laden, that it says "If you're awesome and everything we wanted and more, you make dosh, otherwise, you make about a third of that"

Bradford's is ridiculous, he's signing for a terrible team, and stupid decisions by the front office like this are why these teams are in this situation, throwing money at unproven commodities. Bradford was injured for all of last year, I was sure he'd make less than Stafford, guess not...

This is so very very true. Tebow deal looks even better and I loved it before.

    This is just too ridiculous....

This guy could become the biggest bust in NFL History, and he'd still be set for life with $50mil guarnteed. What a freaking joke...

This makes Eric Berry's contract look like chump change.

Not only has he never taken an NFL snap, he's never taken a snap under center, out all but 3 games last year from throwing shoulder rebuild, his shoulder is (literally) held together by mesh. Even before he was drafted #1 I thought it was a recipe for disaster, this amount of money is crazy. One hard hit .....

I don't think he's going to suck, but I don't think he'll be great either.

In order for him to be worth that contract, he'll have to be Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers or... no scratch that... AND Drew Brees.

Then he'll have to make no less than 2 receivers hall of famers

Kids, skip school. Pick up a football.

Berry signed a 5 year $60mil contract, with $34mil guarnteed.

Bradford's guarnteed money, is almost as much as Berry's whole contract. That's freaking ridiculous...

I could only imagine what Tom Brady must be thinking right now. He's hungry for a Contract Extension, and he has to sit here and watch an unproven rookie get this much money. This makes me sick.

And this is why there wil be a lockout. How in the world can the owners cry broke when the evidence is definitely showing the opposite. If I was a retired veteran who wasn't able to get a good pension to afford health coverage, seeing this would make me vomit.

WOOOOW for a safety ? What were the chiefs thinking? this is sad, if sam turns out to be a bust (with that team he will ) this will set the rams back years. their needs to be a rookie cap for at least the top ten picks.

I bet you the patriots are regretting not giving brady that extension earlier

That's going to be so hard to live up to expectations... It's going to be at least 3-4 years from now to show that he's a good QB.

Definitly makes the Tebow deal sweeter.

Makes it seem like a rookie cap WILL be put in the new contract they negotiate during the year we have no football....
This crazy money contract almost guarantees there will be a lockout.

What are you going to do in 2011 when these grown boys argue amongst themselves about how to split up the pie?
