    Here is some more insight.

For what may have been the first time in training camp, Tim Tebow did not win every post-practice conditioning sprint Tuesday morning. As the team was about to run, Tebow and right guard Chris Kuper went into the teamís weight and conditioning room. As soon as the sprints were finished, Tebow and Kuper returned to the field for a little more positional work.

Kuper most likely was excused from running because of the sprained right ankle that kept him out of practice last week. Tebow may have been plain too battered following the numerous hits he took, and delivered, during his NFL preseason debut Sunday night at Cincinnati.

After the game, Tebow was especially beat up on the left side _ which took the brunt of the impact on his successful, game-ending, end-zone dive.

Pulled muscle or twisted ankle, sounds like it to me. He'll be fine by next pre-season game

Love Tebow, and know he can run....

But hopefully this a bit of a wake up call to him. I know that there are Tebow fans that feel as though Tebow could run through a brick wall, and that he would have no problem absorbing hits from NFL players, but this is a bit a reality check. Yes he is tough, but he has to be a bit more selective with his decisions to dive right into player....this was a pre season game. If he keeps this up, he is jeopardizing future seasons or even his career. He is not in the NCAA anymore, he is in the NFL and needs to adjust to that.

You speculating or do you have a source?

    That's not a minor injury.

I think we should wait for more info to surface (if any) before we make assumptions as to why he left the practice field.

At this point it does seem to be the hit he took in the cinci game, but who knows it could also be something totally un related??

That's the same source for Tebow too. So I'd expect it to be accurate.

Tebow holds side during drills, leaves Broncos practice early

CENTENNIAL, Colo. ó Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow left the practice field early after talking to a Denver trainer Wednesday.Tebow, who received a physical blow at the goal line in Denver's first exhibition game Sunday night in Cincinnati, appeared to be holding his side while going through footwork drills early in the Broncos' practice.

During Tuesday's practice, Tebow did not participate in sprints at the end
