no, but maybe they should put him there and just run a constant wildcat.

    lol terrible...

i never liked cassel, didn't think he was very good even in NE... his team made him look good and the chiefs got fooled by NE.

Many say Matt was a one hit wonder.

The Chiefs bit and then BAM he went down. I would tend to think healthy he could be a decent QB in a predominant running type team as KC appears to be headed.

Let's not forget our very own head coach McD had a hand in Matt's success that year Brady was out.

At least Josh stirred the pot enough to get rid of Cuttles and now.... Hmmmm.

They are all average at best.

I'd much rather see Croyle behind Center than Cassel at this point in time, even
though he could only last 3 weeks max.

I really question the chiefs front office with regards to their QB choices.

First paying the weak armed Cassel 15 million and then skipping on Clausen after it was apparent that Cassel would never be good in this league...

Sometimes I wonder why I'm not in charge of these things.

    You're alone in that.

This year? I don't think that Cassel will really be much of anything, I'd say at best he will look somewhere around this (being generous)

    22 Touchdowns 19 Interceptions 3000 Yards

Like I said thats being very generous, its an improvment from last year but not much.

He won't have anywhere near that many INT's this year. He doesn't throw the
ball down field enough too, and the OL is better than last year so less pressure
mistakes will be forced upon him.

A little more than 20 TDs, around 3000 yards, and between 10 n 15 picks is about
right. Definitely not impressive at all.

If I were making calls in Kansas City-

This would be Cassel's do or die year. He had a full year to fit into his system, lets see what he can do now. Pick up Houshmandzadeh, and begin grooming Croyle immediately. If Cassel has a decent line and still can't have a productive season with Bowe, Houshmandzadeh, and their running game then he needs to go. Don't even bother trading for him. Pick up Leinart and have Brodie Croyle and Leinart battle it out for starting position

Coryle wont be on the cheifs next year, if cassell doesn't work out next year there is a great chance that ryan mallet, andrew luck or jake locker will be on that team. not to mention terrell pryor if he has a good season
