ok here for the meat and potatoes of why i started this....

most here would say Denver's running game is junk, and that you don't even have to worry about defending it.......

    Tenn vs Raiders - 10/27 went for less than 1 yd 37% & 2 went negative 7.4%
Tenn vs Pitt - 9/15 went for less than 1 yd 60% & 3 went for negative 20%
Tenn vs NYG - 15/32 went for less than 1 yd 46.8% & 5 went for negative 15.62%

    Den vs Jac - 8/22 went for less than 1 yd 36.36% & 1 went negative 4.5%
    Den vs Sea - 13/36 went for less than 1 yd 36.11% & 4 went neg 11%
Den vs Indy - 7/14 went for less than 1 yd 50% & 1 went negative 7.1 percent

    Totals

Tenn - 34/74 run plays go for less than 1 yd 45.9% & 10/74 go for negative yards 13.51%
Denver - 28/72 run plays go for less than 1 yd 38.8% & 6/72 go for negative yards 8.3%

the BIG difference is that CJ had a 76 yd td run against the raiders & 42 yard run aginast the giants.

CJ has 301 yds this year 118 of them came on those two runs. (39.2%)

If you can keep the big runs from happening, it's a pretty pedestrian running team, and not very consistant especially when behind.

CJ2K will be lucky to be CJ1.5k this year.
Nice work. Problem is anytime he gets the ball he could score. We should bring in Atwater for just one more play.

Indy 160 yds rushing 3.7 ypc.
Tenn 161 yds rushing 3.9 ypc.

aside from young being twice the statistical QB when ahead that when behind, there's something odd happening with CJ2K this year....

He's always able to take it to the house, on any play, but he get's long runs, and a WHOLE lot of bad runs.

    4,0,1,1,-3,0,8,4,6,10,0,5,76,3,-8,3,3,4,8,4,2,0,3,1,5,2,0

(10/27) for less than 1 yd, 2 for negative

    Pitt
    0,6,8,1,2,-1,6,4,0,1,11,-3,-1,0,0

9/15 for less than 1 yd, 3 negative

    NYG
    -2,4,6,-2,1,3,12,3,6,6,2,1,1,1,6,8,-2,0,0,1,2,0,3,8,6,-3,-1,1,42,3,1,8

15/32 for less than 1 yd, 5 negative

Stoppable if you can negate the big play.
Might as well bring both your posts to this page.

The only way the Titans will win this game is if CJ (he is due for one) and our special teams have a huge game.

Either way, good luck, and I hope no one gets serisouly injured on either side.
Good luck to you too. I think it going to be a close game for both teams, but I think you have the edge over us. Your team only allow 3 touchdowns all season and are 5th in passing yards per game allowed. It's not going to be a easy game for us.

    Bronco's - Titan's game

NFL Fanhouse predicts the final score will be Titans 24 Bronco's 10. This is based on poor performance by Denver in the red zone and turnovers. I'd like to see this proven wrong.

if denver holds cj on the rushing as well as the receiving yards we win. Can denver do it? That's on them.

The Titans are pretty much one dimensional from the start of the game. Young does not pass very well unless the run game is going well. If you remember the Pittsburgh game, the defense was all over CJ and young was turning the ball over as a result. Our D seems to be able to focus its attention where it is needed, so I believe we should be able to hold CJ to under 100 yards. As long as we can win the turn over battle, we will win the game even if we have to settle for FG's. We should be able to keep Tennessee out of the end zone forcing them to settle for FG's. Our passing game should allow us to get into the red zone more often than CJ can get Tennessee in the red zone. We Will win by 2 Fg's and :orton: will have a field day against the Titans secondary!

    VY sucks.

    we beat them handily..
VY is kinda like Mcnabb. He has his good games and very bad games. Let's hope we get the bad VY young. Oh and by the way, if our run defense falls apart like it did last year expect CJ to run for close to 200 yards lol.

Well I already see you have no faith in your team on your own board. How you can be seem to be worried on nearly every play is mind boggling, personally I don't see how you can stand to watch.

Our strengths play to their strengths..... Pass O vs. Passing D.....

Their strength plays to our weakness.... Rushing D vs. Rushing O

I gotta give the advantage to the Titians. We did ok against MJD..... We struggled against Seattle..... And Indy well they ran it next to never.... So I think this game is going to show us where our d actually is at. We get a dynamic back, and solid oline against us so we will see.

But as for the game I think that CJ is going to have a field day, I think that on D Tenn is going to get pressure, to stuff the run (I think the local HS can do that to us), and going to force a couple bad throws. I think that CJ and VY are going to have solid games and the lack of redzone talent will bear its evil head........24-17
Thanx Blondie79 for the sweet Sig....Love it and I will rock it with pride

TN doesn't have the pass rush or defense to hang with Orton and his WR's. Den by 10+.
