It does help in a way. Wouldn't that hint to another game after Skyrim?

Is it still supposed to be an MMO? Or is that going to be something different now?

Skyrim won't be an MMO. It's a direct sequel to Oblivion.

Yeah but that article is a year old and all those were just silly rumors.

I personally think an Elder Scrolls MMO would fail miserably. I mean, thats like making The Lord of the Rings into a chick flick, its just wouldnt be right.

I was gonna make a thread on this when I first heard about it a long time ago but I was lazy.

                Definitely can't wait

Bethesda confirmed it won't be an MMO. And thank lord too.

MMO rumors have been getting shutdown lately. Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Halo, all had supposed MMO games coming out.

For me it has to be ME3 first, but I'll be getting this soon after.

Thank you, Fargo. Thank you very much!

I'll get it then. I just really hope they pay attention to the consoles this time.

Get it for PC too if you can. I make mods frequently, so I can confidently speak for massive community that makes incredible advances to the game's value. They not only make a comprehensive and complete patch for each game, they pump out content Bethesda couldn't even dream up. Every mod is also free to download.

This is no hit against Bethesda -- the modders are why the PC version is so much better. There's about 10 of them that come to mind that could be developers themselves. It's why Morrowind is a decade old and sells crazy. A brilliant sales strategy.

Last thing I can say is wait a week after any game is released. Read the community's feedback. You quickly learn within 24 hours what problems to look for and when you can expect a patch. Having 10 million QA workers figuring the stuff out really does wonders. Also the reason why the initial versions have so many exploits and bugs -- the games are outgrowing the developers.

It sounds like a rant, but I'm being honest and to the point. No matter how you roll the dice, though, I must get my hands on the game eventually.

Would it make sense to get Mass Effect 3, having not played either of the first 2? This game always had me interested, yet I never got around to purchase the game.

You could buy it, but you would be missing out on a lot. One of the biggest features is being able to import your character from the first two games and live with the decisions you made.

You should be able to buy the first two games pretty cheap by now. I really suggest playing them first.
