You might want to check your Calendar. It's February (Regular Season starts in September.)

Things like mechanics, reading Defenses, going thru progressions, audibling, decision-making, etc. The only "intangibles" that I hear Tebow praised for is his running ability and work ethic. That sounds like a good RB...
What? That's not right. Intangibles are things that you can't actually touch. Thus, the name intangibles. Things like mechanics and reading defenses are very much tangible because you can see and fix them. Stuff like leadership, desire, and hustle are intangibles.

I feel so popular but I didnt even read any of the replies I saw my name quoted.

Take your issues up with Fox.

Orton's in, and Tebow's out just like I am out of this thread!

I bet that changes during training camp. I would be willing to bet Neckbeard KO is not the starter next season

That's funny because your profile says:

I find it ironic how people say that the QB competition is over and whatnot when it really just began. Kyle and Tim will be battling it out for starting position all offseason just like John Elway said.

    Really?

    What's the stat for a 3-step dropback?

    How about reading a Defense?

    Pump fakes?

    Audibles?

If you can't put a number on it, it's an "intangible."

No. This is wrong. You have the wrong definition of intangibles. Just because there's no stats doesn't mean its an intangible. Read my earlier post about this for clarification.

Unless they get a new CBA done, there won't be any OTAs, Training Camps or anything else. So Tebow may never have the opportunity to unseat Orton...

If the offense is changing (even slightly) then it would be beneficial to everyone (Orton included) that a CBA deal get done. Without a CBA in place none of the QB’s are allowed to work with the team in any capacity. If the offense is not changing (which I doubt) then Orton has a serious leg up on Tebow being the better NFL QB and having a very good grasp on McDaniel's offense.

However I assume some changes on the offense are going to be made and the playing field in regards to knowledge of the offense will be leveled. That being said if Orton is retained I don’t see Tebow displacing him as the starter sans injury (like last year). However the season is a long way off (even if they do figure out the CBA). A lot can happen in the time from now to then…right now we know one thing which is Orton is still with the team and is still the starter per both Fox and Elway.

Not sure why we all are arguing so much about it now…not much will change until we start practicing again.

    Thx,
    Joe

That's pretty harsh. I was thinking I just wouldn't watch the games or buy the merchandise
