Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

We all saw it coming, but for them to confirm should hopefully light a fire under our front office to get the ball rolling come next Monday...
Matt Maiocco of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reports that the 49ers "are indeed" interested in Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh as a head-coaching replacement for Mike Singletary.
According to Maiocco, it's "mainly for his ability to develop a quarterback." Harbaugh has "developed" both Josh Johnson and Andrew Luck in his two most recent college stops. Johnson is the athletic young backup for Josh Freeman in Tampa Bay, while Luck is the likely No. 1 pick in the 2011 draft, assuming the third-year sophomore declares. Maiocco also confirms that Trent Baalke will be promoted from V.P. of Player Personnel to G.M.
He makes sense in Denver for the same reasons he does in San Francisco. It will come down to who he thinks is the better fit for him if he decides to leave for the Pros. I know I'm looking forward to the outcome...
This just came about trying to figure out a spot for Orton. This would be a very "new coach friendly" draft , because it would grab an extra 1st in 2012. This would give the new coach time to evaluate the QB position and some other areas in 2011, armed with an extra 1st to use as needed in 2012.
Denver receives: Redskins 1st (12), and 2012 1st and FS Michael Griffin
Tenn receives: QB Kyle Orton, DT Albert Haynesworth
Washington receives: 2nd OA pick Denver (AJ Green)
2nd Trade
#12 Trade down again /w Tampa Bay for #20 and 2nd round pick.

DT Vickerson or DT M Thomas
LB Woodyard DT Barry Cofield
LDE Charles Johnson
TE Zack Miller
Cuts of note: J Williams, D Graham, BDawk (retire), N Jones, P Cox (if Guilty), G Hochstein, and RB Buckhalter.

3rd. Titus Young, WR/KR
Defensive Depth Chart (love the coverage potential of the LBs!)
That's pretty intersting, so kudos for the unique idea. The depth chart looks pretty solid at every position, except I don't like having Doom as a back up, considering all the $ investe in him. If you switch Doom and Charles Johnson, I think it would be a pretty good situation overall on D.
Nice mock. I especially like the Titus Young pick, I had us taking him as well, not as a WR, but as a KR. Decker isn't explosive enough to be on ST, and he can't hold on to the ball.
I dont see Fairley or Cameron Jordan in your mock draft,so i pass.We need a DL,and it starts by picking the best young talent available.I cant see us making the playoffs with this lineup.

I would rather have Cofield and Johnson, but I like a move to the 4-3 so different priority in my mind.
For a 4-3 adding three DL would be enough imo, with two 1st rounders next year we could go DL again if there is a need.
true, but ppl on this forums got upset when i suggested trying to convert Jarvis Moss to a SLB to atleast get him on the field a few years ago, because you don´t waste 1st rounders on SLB because they are only in for 2 downs

Very valid point and not going to say it isn't true, however; I do believe Ayers can be a guy who can play MLB in the Brian Urlacher mold, and he would not be the LB I pull in nickel.
