the guy was SEC defensive player of the year and a unanimous first team all-american...he must have been really good in the games you missed

Why is his size and speed so elite

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie can someone tell me how the fact we saw someone faster and taller and better playing ability yet face weaker competition come out 3 years ago yet Peterson is so rare he is a once in a lifetime potential talent.

We had Marcus Brown and Antwaun Molden at the same time.

A friend and study partner of mine Courtney Brown, Marcus McCauley, and Kenny Scott the year before.

    Jimmy Williams

    Stanford Routt and Ronald Bartell

Thats 9 players in 5 years 6-1+ and ran less then a 4.42 so why is his size and speed so important to people.

I think we draft the best player available. This team has so many needs. Not just talent-wise but also because of age. If Peterson is a better talent at corner than is the best available defensive lineman, the best player available would be Peterson. if it's someone else, than we pick that guy.

Peterson is aiming to run in the 4.2 range at the NFL scouting combine. He worked out for teams today, performing defensive back drills as well as the short shuttle and three-cone drill.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 221 pounds last season, Peterson said he weighed in at 211 poounds today and hopes to get down to 206 pounds by the combine.

"I had a nice workout this morning," Peterson said. "I'm looking for that 4.2 at the combine. I ran a 4.31 before.

dbs = corners and safties cb -cornerback so yea there is a difference. aaron ross by all means is no scrub and usually the jim thorpe award recipient does well in the nfl. peterson was a SHUTDOWN CORNER in college and hes got speed to burn so i dont understand why your not sold on him at cb

I believe PP can run a sub 4.3, but I doubt he does it at the combine. Indy field is the worst field ever to run a 40 on.

-Jacoby Ford and C.J. Spiller are track stars who have ran the 40 in 4.2 something, both of them ran a 4.3 something at the combine.

-Joe Haden and Dexter McCluster's stock almost took a major nose dive because of their horrible 40 times. I believe Haden ran a 4.5 when he was suppose to be a 4.3, and McCluster ran almost a 4.6 when he is a 4.4.

I won't be putting much stock in the 40 times at the combine due to Indy's horrible field, i'll wait until the Pro Day.
