    Pat Tillman

It was 7 years ago today that Pat Tillman lost his life in a friendly fire incident in Afghanastan.

While the NFL owners and players are fighting over money, let's remember an individual that knew there were things greater than football and money and ultimately made the greatest sacrifice.

I just hope someday the real truth comes out about why he was killed. RIP.

    RIP.

Good post, thanks for bringing this back to attention in a time where money is seemingly all that matters.

An amazing individual. He gave it all up for his country. It puts this whole lock out issue into perspective. Here you have millionaires and billionaires bickering over dollars, dollars, and "respect".

Pat is one of my heroes, and if you want a great detailed account of his life and the events surrounding it, Jon Krakauer wrote a great book about him called Where Men Win Glory.

    Bump for a hero.
