They should officially name the stadium Mile High Stadium then have a big marketing campaign saying they changed it to the original to get kudos from the fans.

That sounds really stupid! Why would they rename it? Invesco sounds fine.

Last home game I went to was in Mile High Stadium. A magical place for me and something ill never forget. Invesco field at Mile High or Sports Authority field at Mile High doesnt have the same ring.

Yea things change, but not always for the better.

Dang I went to Rockies games in Mile High Stadium before they had their own field. Also saw some Zephyrs games there. Its just a sign of the times, things aint what they used to be and thats a shame.

Don't care what it is called. The REAL Mile High is gone. IF@MH or SA@MH are a poor copy of what we used to have. Calling the New stadium Mile High to me is an insult to our long gone true home.

I would suggest the fans get together and create a fund then vote on a new name instead, but knowing us it would end up being something like "Kyle Orton Sucks Stadium" (which would just be harsh) or "The Spirit of Ingle @ Mile High"

but seriously. i've always hated the Invesco Field part.

    Sports Authority Field is worse.

but at least we could make a thing out of it. The Denver Broncos ARE the Sports Authority...

and why do they always call it "Field" if you're only donating enough money to take care of the field...your name doesn't deserve to be on the stadium.

why can't they call it Sports Authority Stadium or The Sports Authority at Mile High.

or Mile High Stadium Revisited by Sports Authority.

or how about you just sponsor the team/stadium and leave your name off.

Well, can't be worse then what's happened to Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Land Shark/Sun Life/several variations of "Pro Player"...

And on that note, thank goodness my fish got a new stadium so I won't have to worry about THAT anymore for a good long time.

As it is, they can rename a stadium all they want to, isn't going to bother me one bit. I'm still going to use the name I'm most familiar with, all that changes is the name on the side of the stadium. If that's all it takes to make some extra money, go them.

(I still call the afore mentioned stadium "Joe Robbie Stadium" fwiw)
