Sixers getting Bynum and Richardson is a good deal for them.

The Lakers may have the best defense in the league with Koby,Howard, and Artest.

It'll help having Dwight Howard back there knowing Nash couldn't stop me at this point in his career.

We gave up too much salary, in a good way. AA was going be overpaid as his contract played out. Harrington, while a favorite of mine, has bad knees and again a contract that was going to be overpaying him. We gave up a protected pick, meaning if we some how are in the lotto it's still our pick. We have plenty of players, too many, so a late round draft pick isn't really a loss.

We got back a better salary outlook and an All-Star/Olympian!

It's moves like these that make me question why I jumped ship from the Lakers to the Knicks post-Magic. I missed 5 rings and now maybe 1 more. I wouldn't trade my 90s experience but still, what could've been.

Don't know if the Lakers can get past OKC even with this trade but they got closer.

This was likely going to happen sooner or later.
I'm absolutely ecstatic that in this entire ordeal, we were still able to somehow hold onto Pau Gasol. That was huge.

When the initial reports came out that Bynum was heading to Philly and Gasol to Orlando, it was like meh, we were losing two quality players for one, I thought we were breaking about even. But this is almost too good to be true. I cannot wait for the NBA season to start.

The Lakers got Howard which is good.I think they should add some better bench players as well.
