    Broncos Draft

    1. Nick Perry, DE USC

EFX might think they can pass on a DT and add another pass rusher to the Von Doom combo. Will be used like Aldon Smith was and rotate in with Ayers. Has a chance of leading the rookies in sack with Von and Doom getting the attention.

    2. Brandon Thompson, DT Clemson

Whoa! What! A DT??? Yes we finally take a DT here. This could be like the Jarvis Jenkins type player EFX wanted last year. There's a chance he might gone this pick but DTs drop every year. In my mock guys like Worthy and Ta'amu are still in the 2nd round so Thompson might be the best available DT.

    3. Chris Polk, RB Washington

EFX has already shown interest in Polk during the Senior Bowl. Will share carries with McGahee and help out Manning a bit with a running game. Polk is a tough RB who has pretty good speed who can occasionally take it for a long TD run.

    4. AJ Jenkins, WR Illinois

The type of reciever that can be successful with Manning. Runs good crisp routes. Has good vertical speed. Plucks the ball in the air. Can be our #3 or #4 reciever. Can line up in slot or outside.

    4. Tyrone Crawford, DE Boise State

A JUCO transfer who's still a little raw as a pass rusher. With Del Rio and Fox coaching he could end up being a solid player. Adds depth and adds more pass rush.

    5. Mike Daniels, DT Iowa

Daniels is a Jason Jones type player. A little bit undersized as a DT but can be a good rotational DT. Can come in on passing downs. Had 7 sacks this season.

    6. Dale Moss, WR South Dakota State

This is a project player and my sleeper of the draft. Same situation as Julius Thomas. Played 4 years of basketball and 1 year of football. Obviously still raw but has good potential. He impressed at his pro day. Running a 4.45 40. And running a crazy 6.32 3 cone drill. Yes 6.32. Would've been the highest at the combine.

    What do you guys think?

I like the Broncos part except for drafting two recievers.
only question on the 1rst round is why Flloyd to Cincy?

In his first start T.J Yates has tied Tony Romo for playoff wins.

    I like it

I would like to see DT earlier though. I am a huge Hawkeye fan and I can tell you, Daniels isn't going to amount to much at all. He struggled against some softer teams and was nowhere to be seen when a play needed to be made, atleast thats impression I got. He had some moments but his intensity just isn't there. It's really hard for me to root against the Black and Gold but I would rather he not make it to Denver

I just think with guys like Caldwell leaving. Simpson might not be back. They need a #2 WR opposite of AJ green. Floyd was probably thought of going higher so they take him here giving Dalton more weapons. And they fill another need with the other 1st round pick with Dre.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I haven't seen much of Daniels but when I did I thought he was ok. Just someone to take a flyer on and see what Del rio and fox can do.

I really like this draft ...

I like this selection 4. Tyrone Crawford, DE Boise State with drafting Nick Perry and two DT not sure if I why would use that selection again on the DL but I would be happy with that ...

Same thing with doubling up the WR position though I like including a late round sleeper pick ...

I like your mock but 1 Thompson won't be there with our second round pick. Do you have a sub here?

really? I hadn't heard that. I edit my post then to be:

    1. DT Cox or Reyes
    2. RB Martin
    3. OLB Nigel Bradham or CB Josh Norman
    4. OC/OG Brewster
    4. DT Ta'amu/Wolfe
    5. QB Foles
    6. LB Audie Cole or FB Johnson if they need a FB for the offense

Love the first 3 picks. And would love ta'amu if Thompson wasnt there.

It's just that Worthy, Ta'amu make it to the 2nd round in my mock so I have Thompson making it our pick. I think one of those 3 makes it to our pick.

I was just thinking like last year how we doubled up on 3 positions last year and do it again this year.

I can see us taking 2 DT's in the 1st 3 rounds. Hard to say which one falls to 25 but there are 5 legit first rounders.
