We need to find a capable backup QB now, that can still get us to the playoffs if Manning goes down. Hopefully nothing happens to Manning but he's getting old and his neck is a mess. If there is any money left we need to fill what holes we can if we can find anything out there for what little money we have left, we need to also bring in quality depth.

Jeff Saturday is a warrior that I think had even more consecutive starts than Manning (I'm wrong, he had 85 consecutive starts). But with that being said Jeff has mentioned retiring and I don't know how much longer he wants to play. He would be a great addition to your community and would help transition the OL.

I watched every single play the Colts made since they moved to Indy at least once. Trust me on this, even just the exact same line you had last year will be the best line Manning has had since Tarek Glenn left.

One year I think that he had most of the starters injured and half of the 2nd string OL out. Manning till put up 3600 yards or so. I didn't look this up but that is the general flow.

Just to show you what you get sometimes Saturday was an undrafted FA in 1998.

LOL now he is closer to signing with someone else

    Mike Klis ‏ @MikeKlis

Chekc that. DT Marcus Thomas is close to signing with another team. That means Broncos have HUGE holes at defensive tackle

Does anyone think that we'll maybe trade up into a higher 1st round to get a good dline player? Just something that has lingured in the back of my mind. Even more now that we didn't sign bunkley.

What good ole ' days, lol!!! U mean when we were engaging in similar rants about Griese, Plummer, Cutler, and KO? As long as I've been on these boards there's been split factions for the incumbent QB. That is something that will never go away, not even with the "great" Manning under center. It's who we are as a club. I'm sure there's a few that feel Elway was overrated, lol!! But I get your point.

    Holes to fill ?

if you look at it, broncos do not have that many holes

    DT, obvious

    CB , obvious

backup QB, will sign a Hanne or Volek

those are the 2 biggest holes.

safties should be ok, Von, Doom are fine,

could use another linebacker. thats it, DT. CB, LB

offense is more than fine, and they will add on a Saturday, TE, etc, all set there

with a whole draft, and alot of young talent, things are looking real good
