      Trade for RB

With the recent signing of Mike Tolbert. The Carolina Panthers could look to move DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, or Mike Goodson. DeAngelo Williams recently signed a large contract, and they are looking to sign Stewart to one. Goodson was in the doghouse at the end of last season, but is young and has potential. Who should we try to trade for?

Not Williams, his contract is a joke.

I'd like Goodson for a 4th or so but that's it if anything

I would offer them our second straight up for Stewart.

A 3rd of 2013 draft for J-Stew. Then draft Lamichael, Pead or Wilson.

Goodson would be cheaper than the others, he's younger, and he has far less wear on his body. He also showed that he's the real deal when the other two were hurt two years ago.

If we trade for a running back we have to go after Chris Ivory. Man is a beast.

He has been a little bit injured but the man is being wasted on the New Orleans bench. They have Thomas, Ingram and Sproles ahead of him. When he has played he looked great. Power runner. With speed and elusivness. He is young. Going into his 3rd year. GIve them a 4-6th round pick and get him here. Better than any back available in that area of the draft.

However the free agent runningbacks are still solid. Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Tim Hightower would be nice additions.

Nah, I'd rather draft our own guy and possibly go after a Free Agent right now

I don't think a trade is the right way to go with all of the free agent running backs still out there:
                          Michael Bush
                          Cedric Benson
                          BenJarvus Green-Ellis
                          Ryan Grant
                          Chester Taylor
                          Ronnie Brown

I'd love to see them bring in Bush to complement McGahee, and it'd be a nice way to stick it to the Raiders for good measure.
                          Anyone seen Jake Plummer?

                            Update on McClain and Trufant?

Any more news about these two? We would have a pretty stacked secondary and LB group if we could get these guys and Porter also signs. Really want McClain, especially with DJ's situation. Also what's the deal with Bunk as of late?

Lombardi said on MClain, something like. "Not impossible, but not likely."
