Point of the matter is we dont know. Most of our picks are projects and wont make an immediate impact. Now you could wish for great things all you want. Our draft was average at best.
You can't compare scouting basketball to scouting football. Basketball is a million times harder to scout. Michael Jordan isn't the only guy to draft a bust in basketball, everyone does. Out of every top 5 there will be guaranteed one bust if not two or three.

I'm glad we took a LB - wish it was inside. Should be an asset on ST

Speed deficient, but one of the toughest kids in the SEC. May fill in for DJ on his suspension. makes a ton of sense for Broncos. -Mayock

I guarantee that Trevathan can play. He was the UK defense. I really like this pick.

I am laughing at how hard Rich Risen is trolling Mayock.

Danny Trevathan #broncos 6th round pick, athletic OLB can rush, cover, compared to Woodyard a lot, high football intelligence #nfldraft

Undersized, fast flowing run & hit weak side LB.

High production, but "lacks NFL traits" per PFW
