It's hard to look at this draft right now and think anything other than "C-."

People need to calm down...we have a DT, QB, C, RB, and CB so far. Pretty much our biggest needs outside of QB (but it is good to have an eye on the future with taking a QB). Sure, these guys are not the big names that you all want, but that's what happens when you make the playoffs the previous year. Those bad teams are SUPPOSED to end up with the better players.

The draft is still a bit of a crap shoot. Some of these players will work, some won't. At least we picked the right positions.
    thanks Freyaka

They have? Good thing I didn't read this thread yesterday cause this one has been mostly complaining with doom and gloom thrown in.

    Who I would like -

    Tommy Streeter, WR –Miami
    Juron Criner, WR - Arizona
    Marvin Jones, WR – California
D Jones, WR – North Carolina
    Marvin McNutt, WR – Iowa

    Jonathan Massaquoi, DE – Troy
    Trevor Guyton, DE – California

    Josh Chapman, DT – Alabama
Billy Winn, DT – Boise St.

    Alfonzo Dennard, CB – Nebraska
    Chase Minnifield, CB – Virginia

Markelle Martin, S – Oklahoma State

Any one of these would be fine. A DT or WR would be best

I would like to think Dic is not the retard you make him out to be saying "shocked we did not take him". A you dont know and B he would NEVER fit in as anything but a NT in a 3-4 and a bad one at it

Give this kid a chance. I mean ANY healthy player can go out in week one and never return ex Nick Collins. I would much rather take a guy who has been injured but has the potential to be great than an mediocre healthy player.

Starting to warm up a little to the OL pick Blake ...

I seen a couple of post that gave good reasoning to it ...Not a sexy pick ... Should eventually be a starter and also serves as much needed depth at two different positions and another type of OL that Fox wants ... That's Franklin,Blake so far ...

It could turn out to be an excellent draft just one that on the surface don't look to be very appealing

This is why at the end of the year they come out with new grades because it's pointless to grade a draft without the players hitting the playbooks and the field.
