Its one of my faves, but I must agree with you on one thing, Its not a movie that I could sit and watch a bunch of times.

    My rewatchable movies are
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
    Alien
    Happy Gilmore
    Spaceballs
    Dumb and Dumber
    Tommy Boy
    Ghost Busters
    Predator
I watch movies all the time. I just thought that one was boring and poorly put together. And I love war movies.

Most of the rest of your list I agree with.

I could of sworn you were just talking about Act of Valor. Now that is an awful movie....

Act of Valor was an awesome movie and well put together. If you expected Oscar worthy acting you chose the wrong movie to go to.

The story was horrible and boring. The action was good but there wasn't enough of it to save the awful acting and storyline that was boring. There was no character development what so ever and I found myself bored to tears the entire time. If you that Act of Valor was good but Black Hawk Down wasn't then you don't know a good war movie.

Lol we could go round and round about this.

The movie was far from boring. And the movie is supposed to portray what real life missions are like for the Seals. They aren't going to embellish that just to satisfy a few action hungry movie goers.

How do you figure there was no character development? The beginning of the movie was about what their family life is like and one of the main characters had to put his thoughts about his unborn child out of his mind because it could screw him up in combat. And get him or his crew killed.

This isn't some beginning make believe story for a trilogy. It's a look into real life situations. And played by real life Seals. Hence the poor acting. If you find that boring something is wrong with you.

Act of Valor was a freakin terrible movie. I could care less if the actors were actual Seals, they can't act. So boring... like they were intentionally mimicking a Call of Duty game.
