the first time i heard it i was like....."is that my alarm clock?"
That's how I am. Some of their stuff is like, yeah I get it. That's really cool, but I'm not going to jam that driving down the street or anything. Break Those Bones is a traffic jam top ten though.

I think I've told you this, but likewise on Opeth. Most of the people I know don't listen to them, so going back and listening to some of their earlier stuff really changed my perspective. They're one of my go to bands now.

to be honest i mainly just listen to opeth's first 8 or 9 albums (up to watershed). I do sometimes listen to the newer stuff, I like some of it but it's just not the same and too progressive for my taste. I love opeth for the transitions from death to progressive, that stuff is awesome to me and i miss that in their music.

Got tickets to go see Ice Nine Kills in July. So stoked. The Silver Scream album might be my favorite album ever.

I don't know how many of you listen to Fates Warning, but John Arch and Jim Matheos are back with a new album and it's one of their best IMO. It's pretty amazing how Arch sounds at 60 years old. I love the early Fates Warning albums.

Read this morning that Dave Mustaine has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Throat cancer is what took out my dad but if anyone can kick cancer tail it's Dave!
