Read this morning that Dave Mustaine has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Throat cancer is what took out my dad but if anyone can kick cancer tail it's Dave!

Throat cancer took out my dad as well in 2008. Go kick some cancer butt Dave!

I've never seen Opeth either. I had a chance to, but had some other nonsense going on at the time. Can't even remember what. I think my concert days are done for a while now. There are a few bands I really want to see, or meet if possible, but they'll probably be done by the time I'm able. I'd love to see Slayer one more time.

Never heard of primus? Pantera? Phil anselmo was their front man. The others I can understand though.

I hear ya man, I mostly still go because of my son who is seeing some of these bands for the first time.

I think he likes opeth more than I do. I raised him right if I do say so myself.

so tonight is the beginning of my metal conquest. we are going to see Nile and Terrorizer then tomorrow night Slayer, Primus, Ministry, and Phil Anselmo (covering Pantera songs)

im gonna be one soar old man tomorrow night. what sucks is i'm gonna miss the biggest chargers game of the season but it will be worth it!
