Scott Burnside is already on ESPN predicting the Wild in 7. Due to Avs inexperience and loss of Duchenne for most of the first round.

    What???

I'm not sure what's more annoying. Us winning 4 of 5 regular season and still being projected to lose, or him projecting them to win game 7 which would be on our ice. Not happening.

He touts how great the Avs were and how we have guys that could be winning awards left and right, and yet picks the Wild in 7 only because of inexperience. This team is gritty and knows how to stay in a fight. I think that can make up for inexperience. Avs in 6.

Inexperienced? We have a HC who won 3 Stanley Cups during his career. The players may not know much about it, but the coach does.

I don't even know that much about hockey honestly, yet I can counter his argument.

    Avs in 5.

Our "softest" players are still grinders and this team knows how to fight back. I think trying to out physical the Avs is a mistake anyway, all you're doing is waking them up.

Wild are hot right now. It won't be easy. The good news is clutter buck, the big d-head is not on their team anymore. So we likely are to make it through without any concussions or other unnecessary injuries.

As long as varly stays hot and we play sharp against praise we should come out in 6.

We likely will face the hawks in rd 2 which I'm worried about. I also do not want to see the blues or the kings. We will face the blues or hawks. Hopefully it's the hawks. La in the playoffs is bad news and they are such a good team, even tho their record hardly ever shows it.

This is going to be exciting for sure.

Right now I would rather play the Blues than anyone in the entire postseason. They are on a huge tailspin.

Anyone care to wager who scores the first goal for the avs?

    Winner(s) gets a CP?

Ima go with Mack. No, Landy.
Yes. I am going to go with El Capitan!
    For now....
    1. Reuben Badass LB; 2. Joe Mixon RB; 3. Jake Butt TE; 3B Sid Jones DB; 4. Bucky Hoges TE; 6. Ryan Switzer WR. Trade for Sheldon Richardson.

Sure. Since it's a pure guessing game I'll go with Stastny. He has been on fire lately.
