I was trying to think back to the episodes where the Manifest was being read and I can't specifically remember anyone mentioning any Bi-Laws so I'm not sure what it could be.

Knowing Kurt Sutter though, the obvious ending will probably NOT happen so stay tuned for a wild FINAL RIDE!!
He said it's an unwritten bylaw so it won't be in any manifest. I agree with EdddieMac that it could be to allow the Niners into the club. There will be a lot of animosity if Jax dies and no one can honor it.

Also I was more stunned about uncer than Gemma. I was like you could've just pistol whipped the old man.

I kept expecting Nero to show up to save Gemme. But when Gemma gave Jax the go ahead I knew we were finally done with her.

Not too much left for the finale but still hope it goes out with a bang.

Oh can't believe Jax is moving on from Tara so fast. But man is Wendy smoking hot.

I dont think they want the niners in the club but the grim bastards since they're trusted and their numbers are dwindling down jax even asked TO but he said they were the wrong shade of white

Im bummed jax killed unser i was not expecting that couldn't he just pistol whip the guy? I thought nero woulda tried to save gemma but he knew how far gemma had gone and if he intervened then bad things would have happened

Those mom jeans got me over tara pretty fast too

Yeah I always get the Niners and Grim Bastards mixed up since their both black crews and Jax works with both a lot. TO's crew is the one I was referring too.

Man I knew at least some of what would happen but that was a good ending to a series, if there is such a thing.

My favorite show for sure. Hate that it's over.

It all built up. Showing the rock where JT died, his bike being rebuilt....little clues.

I am just glad chibs is still around. My favorite character on the show.

I'm not going to bother with spoiler alert because the two most common posters aside from me have already watched. And we don't get a lot of random pop ins that haven't watched the show.

I gotta say I was rather disappointed with the finale. Although I had had so much spoiled it was annoying. My moms new husband always talks to me about the show. Saturday he decides to tell me he saw a photo spoiling the courthouse scene. I tell him I don't want to know and he continues to show me his phone of the pic and tell me what's happening. I was like dude I just said I don't want to know. I was pretty pissed.

I had also heard for a long time about the final scene. Apparently Kurt Sutter mentioned it. I don't understand what's wrong with all these directors/producers these days that can't keep stuff secret until after the finales end. It's like they get a kick out of spoiling stuff for the fans. You would think they would want everyone to wait to find out what happens. I would think spoiling things would lower ratings.

Anyway I was really hoping the rumors were wrong. I expected him to die but I thought it was a really lame way to go out. I was fully prepared for Chibbs to put a bullet in his head. I thought meeting Mr. Mayhem their way would've been better. I thought the way it played out was very anti climatic. And the filming quality on the final scene oh my god was it aweful. I thought the crows were a nice touch though odd since they've never played on Sam Crow before like that. I guess it was supposed to be a poetic ending but I thought it was lame.

As for the rest of the episode I thought it was great. Jax taking everyone out to clean up his mess. And even coming clean to the D.A for the good of the club and his family. There was tons of foreshadowing throughout the episode that he would die. All the "I love you's" to random cast members.

I'm glad not everyone died though. That would've been a bit over the top.

I seriously almost cried when the episode ended though. Not because of Jax dying but just due to it being over. I always feel like a piece of me died when my favorite shows end.

Don't get me wrong with the complaints though. I did like a majority of the finale. Just didn't like the "poetic ending".

Yeah i heard the ending was spoiled a while ago but i resisted from reading anything about it.
I too also felt the ending was a bit anti climatic i thought there was going to be one gigantic shoot out before the end cause it just seemed like things could go on and this was just another episode.

Jax sacrificing himself for all the bad things he did all season gave me a jesus vibe especially before dying he put his arms up like a cross. And it was also nice to see jax finally visit taras grave and nice to see opie too

I just hate it when shows end when there are so many questions left to be answered like how will wendy react to the news that gemma was actually the one who killed tara and jax in return killed gemma, will chibs be a better leader, will the mayan/niner/irish deal really work, whats gonna happen to nero and wendy do theu get together since they were last seen holdin hands amd throughout the season they seemed to get along really well, and most of all what becomes of thomas and abel i mean abel is old enough to remeber things does he go searching the truth about his father someday when hes older? Cause we see him playing with the "son" ring gemma gave him. Oh yeah and what happens to chucky hes all alone now what does he end up doin?

I know writers like to leave it up to our imagination but maaan ive beem watching this show for x amount of years give me an ending with no questions that still remain

My favorite part of the episode had to be right before jax drives off from his comrades he turns around and says "i got this" for a second i didnt know why he said that but then i remembered Opie had said that right before he died i was like man i miss opie i like when shows do a call back to good characters

Overall i agree that once it ending i felt like a part of me ended too.

Althoug it was anti climatic that exactly what Sutter does to us. We all expected a bloody mess at the end so he took it away.

There was no way Jak was going to survive, too much blood on him. He was so controlling over everythng and got his way through whatever means this was just an extention of that. No way he was going to run and hide, not his style. Going to jail and suffering through either Juice's or Otto's fate wasn't an option. There is no way his club was going to kill him unless he told them too.

He ended like the series started. Him figuring out things about his Dad and why he did what he did. Although the arms extended thing was a bit much I think it was done very well.

Yes there are a ton of questions. I would love to see more of Chibs, Tig, and Happy if they ever did another series but I doubt that will ever happen.

Now its on to find another series that grabs me like that, Breaking bad, Justifed did.

Yeah I'm fine with the way it ended with a lot of questions unanswered.

They can't answer everyone's questions. And continuing on to try to answer them would only create further questions. You have to find a stopping point somewhere. The show can't go forever.

Some of the questions Captain proposed are good questions. But others I don't care to find out. I'm sure Chibbs would be a good leader. But that can't be answered in 1 short episode. Couldn't care less if Nero and Wendy hook up. The question about the boys is good but what would they do? Change actors and advance 10 years? I don't like it when shows do that. That's how Boardwalk Empire did their final season and it was one of the worst tv seasons I've ever seen in my life.

I really don't have any major dying questions today so I felt the show wrapped on a good note with closure.

I really am going to have to find a new favorite show though. I guess right now it would have to be Arrow and Flash but those I'm not desperately waiting for next weeks episode the way I did with SOA and Breaking Bad. To me these two shows in the past year have been life changers.

So overall all very awesome ending. A few complaints but most have been brought up.

This last season was very good though. For a while a few of the seasons weren't very good but I watched anyway just because I wanted to know what happens. But this last season was probably my 2nd favorite.

Very awesome show. I'm sure I'll rewatch the whole thing over again in 5-10 years.
