Official Game Day Thread: Week 2: 2014 Chiefs vs Broncos

Greetings to Week 2 Bronco Fans.

In a strange twist of Fate after on week of Game the Broncos are in first place in the West and the Patriots are in last place in the East... I rather like that.

I'm sure most here will agree the Broncos came out of the gate on fire last week and seemed to put it in cruse control for the 2nd half. The defense lacked intensity and the offense and play calling just were not there. Manning is not held to about 60 yards in the 2nd half unless the team is phoning it is resting on it's lead. They got the "W" and hopefully learned a lesson about keeping the foot on the gas. Fox is good, but that need to be conservative will cost us down the line again.

This week we face Kansas City m who lost at home to the Titans. Andy Reid will look to get them back on track, bit Fox an Del Rio should be ready. Under Fox we have won 5 of the last 6 vs KC, the only loss was Orton returning to Denver to face Tebow in a low scoring game.

A lot of players have changed since then and Denver would like to stay dominant contain the Chiefs run game and limit Alex Smith as much as possible. This will be another test for our revamped D and to adjust offensivle to the players we have lost or they are currently inactive.

So how do we do in week 2 matchups? Well in the last 10 years we went 8-2, Winning all 7 times at home and going 1-2 on the road. So hopefully the trend continues, Let's stay healthy and get the "W"

As always please watch watch what you post. The Mods do a great job here, but would like to watch the game as well, so please follow the COC and report any violations. Good luck as always and GO BRONCOS!

Here's to an exciting game tomorrow that will hopefully be free of injury, controversy, and 2nd half lethargy by the offense!

WE could be leading the division by 2 games by this time tomorrow. H should beat O. Sea will probably beat SD. And Denver should beat KC. But KC is always dangerous in Denver . Here's hoping at the end of the day tomorrow we have a one game cushion to win the division, ( which is nice to have this early )

Chiefs are missing some key players, their passing game didn't look very good, and their defense was discombobulated against the Titans' offense. Broncos 41, Kansas City 20
